    Ah. Patricia Wrede. One of the only authors who can make me laugh out loud (others include Brandon Sanderson, Andrew Peterson, and Richard Thompson). She does write the best YA fiction (well, except for the Rithmatist). I personally find that YA are (usually) children's level reading with protagonists aged 13-20, regardless of setting and/or content. I don't think it's a particularly good way of categorizing fiction.

    Just thought of this: Can we have have more discussion of weaknesses? Not conversations about weaknesses, but when you get a bunch of Epics together that hate each other as much as Lightwards and Funtimes, they really should be trying to figure out the others' weaknesses. The only weakness that I've seen is Scorch's. I haven't been looking for foreshadowing/hints (if there's been any), so I may not have seen it.

    Popping to tell all of you RP'ers that What Happened in Oregon is so fun to read and is now sort of like my own little TV show. I am impressed by the quality of the writing (should have realized that this would be so, since we are on an author's fansite after all) and the characterization is fascinating. I hope the fun will continue for... well, as many Questions as it takes.

    Dalinar would die in the first hour of the movie, not surviving the Desolation because he stubbornly refused to leave the Codes behind. And he would only get 10 minutes of screen time. Hoid would never show up, or just be the comic relief.
