Obscure Shardworld.. eh, it could work. As for Yolen, I'd say no to your logic, but not the possibility. Odium knows where Yolen is because he used to live there. That said, I wouldn't put it past a Shard to hide there if Odium had a reason to not go back. The "hide Luke on Tatooine" logic.

Marsh. After defeating the Lord Ruler, Vin asks him if his spikes hurt, and he replies with "Yes. All eleven of them hurt." I would have figured it's human nature to think a spike to the eye hurts(which is why Vin asks).

Sleepless Radiants

Siah Aimians, maybe. I wouldn't peg Axies as one, but I think it's possible. Dysian Aimians... if they can, it'd be main body only, and it'd be... unusual. We know spiking a Hordeling would change it enough to disconnect it from the hivemind. I feel that a Nahel bond would do the same. That said, if they can replace their Hordelings.. Then they may be able to use new Hordelings after becoming a KR, but this is all manner of unknowns. Edit: Arclo says that he can grow new Hordelings if he needs to. Ones with more eyes/antennae to see/hear/taste, etc... so at least that's viable -
Top 10 theories going into Oathbringer
The One Who Connects replied to bdoble97's topic in Stormlight Archive
We don't really know for sure. http://coppermind.net/wiki/Dawnshard. -
Not sure..,. I may be thinking of a different WoB clarifying that Ambition wasn't the "not on planet" Shard, but I'd have to look again. I just decided to combine the two because it seemed reasonable. If you aren't on a planet, you aren't invested in a planet, so you can run from Odium if need be.

Alright then. Pretty sure I know what you are talking about, but I'll disagree about it being a Dawnshard. Guess we'll have to wait and see -
This is more because of the Intent itself. He cannot maintain "Harmony" unless he does things in equal parts Ruin and Preservation. Try doing as much bad as you do good. I'ts not that easy. Anything he does will have to be balanced out, and that makes it hard to act in ways that would tip the scales(which is almost any action) Rayse is an uncertain case, but we'll learn more as SA goes on. We have several. The order of events is almost completely nailed down, we just lack the specific time-gaps between them. My Before Elantris, After Harmony, etc.. dates are roughly correct, but there are still too many unknowns for me to nail down precise dates.

Nobody commenting on "Music by: The Chasmfiends" or "Directed by: Sizgil" ? I'm disappointed in you guys.

Genuine question, prelude or prologue? I don't actually remember a "prelude" being in the released materials, but I haven't looked recently. -
Portable Elantris

It was mostly the spoiler tags we had to use. Search function doesn't give results that are inside spoiler tags, but I understand why they set it up that way. -
@Extesian I suppose I am one of the few who quotes the posts in question But the line itself is just the truth. We don't care about unlikely, we only care about if it is possible.

We know it's possible. We've known about it for centuries, but that doesn't mean we know how. Last time the discussion actually happened was here, but that was last november.

The Ultimate List of Questions for Brandon
The One Who Connects replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
That's the problem isn't it? Not exactly. That one came first, so mine appears to contradict yours. Intuitive Leaps: October 12, 2015. Raw 'Processing Power': November 19, 2016. -
Yep. I checked the Edit Histories to confirm. Bavadin's Shard was created August 17, 2011, and later changed to Autonomy on Oct 6, 2015. Survival Shard was created Dec 8, 2012, and the "tangential to intent" bit was added Feb 4, 2016. The "not on a planet" bit was added March 28, 2015. Wait, really? Well then.

No. The Day of Brilliance was an increase of "multiple kinds of intelligence." -
New idea about the shard that's not on a planet...
The One Who Connects replied to Catfish's topic in Cosmere Discussion
The meaning of this entry has consistently eluded me. Outside of them being the model human life on Scadrial was based off of, which could let Harmony fully revert what TLR did, I have no clue what other use they could serve. I suppose he could have looked at the connections they had in the SR, which could have lead him to discovering Yolen, but this seems really unlikely. -
The likeliness factor has never stopped us before. I will say that you're looking at the other compounding, which is gonna affect the idea. You're using Feruchemy to enhance Allomancy, which is one of the less nailed down things in the compounding scene.

New idea about the shard that's not on a planet...
The One Who Connects replied to Catfish's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Yea. He does see the power of the Shards leaking from them like Mist, but that's after the bodies fall. -
Vin tried a Duralumin Soothing to take him over like Koloss/Kandra in HoA. (Yomen's throne room, I believe) Didn't Work. Granted, this could be because of Ruin's control over him being stronger, but that's acceptable. Ruin physically ripped nearly 40,000 Koloss from Elend's control all at once. Harmony could devote the smallest fraction of effort to snatch Marsh back from anyone who tried to control him. Then Harmony can go back to non-intervention and let Marsh take care of the problem himself.

I thought there was a distinction between Autonomy and our Hiding Shard. As for the Nexus idea.. it's not a bad thought actually. We'd have to either ask Brandon directly or get a map of a different planet's CR to compare Shard/Nexus count, but I like it

New idea about the shard that's not on a planet...
The One Who Connects replied to Catfish's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Um.. not really sure. I know Ruin and Leras appeared as Mist Spirits, but that always seemed more like an avatar. A public face that they created when they needed to, rather than a permanent thing. I'd consider that as a non-issue, since I think that was an active use of energy to show up in the PR, rather than a "body" that they had wandering around. A way to have them not be omniscient gods who saw all and knew all. The spirit(and any spiked people) were their "eyes and ears" in the world. No idea on any other things. What else were you thinking of? -
No worries. You aren't the first, and certainly won't be the last, to make that mistake about Marsh. People don't seem to grasp just how many spikes 34 powers(counting Atium) really is. I'll admit that he could use Atium to his advantage, but that'd require Sazed to make more(which he might do, actually. Help balance out that extra Ruin even more for a few centuries) I agree about not going the more spikes route, but probably for different reasons. I don't think Marsh would approve of it. He feels.. worn out. I don't think he'd want to go further down the rabbit hole of Soul Splicing.

New idea about the shard that's not on a planet...
The One Who Connects replied to Catfish's topic in Cosmere Discussion
You said "if a shard moves its PR parts to the CR, I suppose it could hide there." I wondered if you considered the things a Shard has invested in as "PR parts." If you did, then they would have to divest themselves from all of it in order to hide in the SR&CR only. Yes that would almost certainly lead to A and B, but that wasn't really the point. -
Marsh is not a Fullborn. He has never been a Fullborn. He only has 22 Spikes, and they are not varied enough to grant all the powers anyway.

New idea about the shard that's not on a planet...
The One Who Connects replied to Catfish's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Possibly. It depends on what you consider a Shard's "Physical Realm parts." If you only consider it as the things the Shard is invested in, then yes. Odium would have been a prime example of this before getting trapped on Roshar. If you consider more than just that as Physical Realm parts, then we'd need to discuss it further
