I really like the idea of autonomy being a star, but what if Brandon is misleading us to think that way. What if one of the shards (possibly the survival shard) is living in the CR? Like maybe residing in Silverlight. I don't remember hearing anything about shards using investiture being limited to the physical realm, so why not invest in the CR in an attempt to avoid conflict and survive? Please correct me if my idea is incorrect. It would be interesting to see a magic system that is completely CR based though.

I think that it wouldn't be BS to do something twice... think it would be tooo simple for BS...

Could it have been a shattering of Faith? An allegory of the world we live in now?

Haven't read LoP. Gives more credence to Adonalsium having an intent (or multiple I will give you that). One that encompassed all of what we would consider the intents of the 16. For example Continuity or Continuum. Rise and fall. Good and Evil. But with an imperfect balance which is why the 16 choose to shatter him.

So if all the shards have some predetermined intent or direction after they received them after the shattering, what was Adonalsium's Intent, with all of the shard's within himself, that had already created some of the universe (I know questionable. The God Beyond probably was more than likely the creator of Adonalsium and much of the cosmere)? If it had any intent I think it would be Continuum. If the 16 wanted change wouldn't it make sense to break the continuum? Maybe the breaking of Adonalsium was to break the cycle of the same. Could Adonalsium have been a bad thing which was broken for a reason? Could the fain and the scar be Adonalsium's intent coming back to receive vengeance or just a repercussion?

Shrapnel! That was the word I was looking for! Hoid got hit by shrapnel of Adonalsium and even though it's not a shard, he still holds some power without as much effect on his personality or direction. Not enough to control his intent or personality but enough that its quietly driving him towards a goal.

Will Era 3 have Yacht Rock? I don't know, there might be a "Top Gun - Danger Zone" volleyball montage with Sazed and Kelsier? Kelsier wondering why he was goose? Hoid spiking the ball on them? Odium shaking his head saying he's got next?

I didn't mean he did it himself but the 'THING" talking to him let him pass in a way we don't know yet to go over to the CR so he cold continue his work.

Oh yeah sazed combining two shards show that theoretically adonalsium could be recreated... is Hoid actually for this or is it red herring and secrectly against it?

Perhaps a sliver of Adonalsium doesn't have the same properties as a normal shard or sliver? like a hidden shard.... dumb theory but, meh, what the heck?
