Hmmmmmmmmmmm, are the downvotes really necessary? It seems rather harsh, especially for a newcomer.

As the scholar moved farther into the room he saw a strange looking hammer and an even stranger looking anvil. They both had strange shimmery places on their faces, constantly changing, looking kind of like warder cloaks. LeftInch poked at the area on the hammer head. It squished mildly, rebounding like rubber when he removed the pressure. The scholar shrugged and pulled out the real statue of himself and placed it on the anvil, then grabbing the hammer he slammed it as hard as he could against the statue. *Boink* "Fantasy forging goes boink?" The little model was unharmed as he had expected. However a chain of light had appeared over the statue of LeftInch, the scholar himself, and QC's miniature. Getting the idea QLI shoved his statue into the shimmering area of the hammer, pushed QC's into the similar area in the anvil, and positioned himself so that the chain was positioned immediately over it. *Crumble* The statues, the chain, and the equipment were all crumbling into small pieces. Figuring that the quest was complete the scholar turned back towards the door- swvishhhhhhhhh- LI barely dodged the sword. A giant fade was standing in front of him. The pieces from earlier were gone, but the Fades sword looked suspiciously similar................

Okay so earth got un inhabitable a long time ago, but not before sending off tons of ships to try and find a new place to live. (Luckily the story barely mentions this because I've noticed that stories tend to get really boring when they start focusing on poor earth dying) So the ships find a planet that would kind of be livable and they all crashland onto it. The world is very harsh and a huge desert (Think Arrakis from Dune) Only a couple of ships survive and eventually cities are built from the ships which they cannibalized. Tech level is pretty cowboy era except for some stuff. Anyway Vash the stampede is a man who has a sixty billion double dollar reward on his head for supposedly destroying an entire city. The anime follows his story and has a couple other characters that are absolutely awesome. Such as the two insurance girls charged with trying to stop him from creating any more damages for their company to have to cover. Anyway, the anime's short, just 26 episodes. And it's by far the best I've watched. It seems to be very goofy and slapstick at first, and it its, but it also has some deep philosophy and character development.

Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn. Can't believe I haven't recommended them yet. The first books starts out pretty slow but if you can get through about the first 2/3s to 3/4s then the entire series suddenly gets really good.

Hey guys, I'm sorry Ive done such a bad job keeping up to snuff on this stuff. I think I'm going to have to Ice my character because I don't think I'll be able to be any more active for a looooong time. Maybe the Doctor could turn me into a teddy bear and put me into a store so that maybe I could come back in at some point.

But of those three options none of them truly return him back to life, and as far as we can tell, wouldn't even let him keep his powers. When Gandalf resurects, he gets a huge level up.
