    Well Alcatraz, which is technically a kids book not even YA, is seriously one of the most amazing things ever put on a library shelf. Rithmatist and Steelheart, hmmmm, well they're very good as books for their age ranges. I honestly have a hard time getting into them just because they lack the grandness and stuff in adult books. Now, part of my problem is that I went into those books expecting the wrong thing. If I went back and reread them I would almost certainly like them more than I did the first time. It's just a matter of what to expect.

    I'm more of a classical player, but I do play plenty of modern stuff to. Mostly video game and anime sheet music, some LoTR, some buble, anything else I feel like and have the sheets for.

    Okay, sorry guys. I'm about to reveal how much of a newb I am. As i've been trying to catch up on everything I figured out that Racine is the other person that was in a pm that Wyrm set up. Nobody said anything in the pm so I had no idea what was going on and I just figured out what was going on. So I guess that was the tineye power? Anyway, sorry again about the confusion. Newb coming through here..........

    So I was reading The Hope of Elantris this morning on Brandon's site and I came accross the fact that there's an Aeon Ati So, I did a search for WoB's on Ati, and I couldn't find any relating to this. SO. Coincidene? I storming well think not! This could just be another Shash thing, but, I do find it interesting. Ati was supposed to be a great bloke, I'm guessing there's supposed to be some kind of correlation. Anyway. Opinions???

    Shai and pretty much every other character on Sel. Except for the pessimistic Dulla. I just have such a hard time caring about the characters in that world. I like the stories, magic, and other things in Sel, but the characters always feel really weak to me.

    I do apologize for my absences and abstinence from this thread. Real life doesn't really have mercy for me a lot of the time. I'm still catching up on whats going on and reading stuff soooo. Anyway, glad my lack of participation didn't get me lynched. That bit about somebody contacting me was a lie by the way. I haven't gotten anything like that.

    Um, hm. Well I had a private piano teacher and she just gave me assignments and then checked me off when I fulfilled them to her liking. My study of piano theory is about as horrendous as it gets. Meaning that I have basically no knowledge of technical terms and ideas. I play well, in fact I'm a pianist at my church, but I haven't the faintest idea about what the in-depth stuff means. I'm guessing I'm more of a classical pianist, but could I have a definition of the two please?

    Indeed my queen. That part of the Raven Throne Quest has been completed. I have been restored, but now I must fight my way out of the final room. And Matrim and QC have other adventures left I think.

    Hehehehehehehehehe Well to understand the Big picture, well yeah. But to understand each world and story......meh, its not necessary. You do get a deeper appreciation for how a lot of things work though.
