  2. Don't forget Ricochet! Hahahahahhahahaha, my Epic was there, if only for, you know......three posts?.....
  3. I've always wanted dto do the Roshar map, but never got the mod to work. I never tried tha thard either though..... Considering how many players we have we really should play together, and make more maps, Final Empire Scadrial and Rithmatist come to mind.

But of course the Rrpg would beat me to it
  5. I watched the first episode. Didn't like the acting. The action was good, but there's better and worse. Over all I got a good impression, but I'm not going to keep watching as I don't like the levels of dark.
  6. I, and my whole family, have been fans for a long time. Grew up reading the old Doyle originals and watching old black and white films and shows, and am very impressed with the new series. I'm not even very active in the Barony or the Newcago Empire so I'm afraid that I can't join.
  7. Finished Thunk! and am currently working on the Davinci Code, Unseen Academicals, and The One Eyed Man. Also have Heretics of Dune, Half a King, and David and Goliath by Malcom Gladwell checked out and waiting their turns. Half a King seems very......well lets go with nothing new. It seems to be a redo of the viking teen king romance and politics that I've seen before. Is there anything new? Or is it just written well, because I know there's a lot of fans of the author who are sanderfans.
  8. I think that it's fine, except that you'll probably want to skip or come up with other stuff whenever the mmmm, private activities of the noblemen come up. I'm almost finished reading Final Empire to my tween sister and have done exactly that. Personally, I think you can read the gore to them straight, but that's definitely your decision. I did and still do hate gorey films and television, but I've never had that problem with books so much. I think it's awesome that you're indoctrinating them at such a young age
  9. Recently bought Star Wars Jedi Knight, Jedi Academy. It's a lot of fun, and I'm understanding some of the unexplained references in some of the later Zahn books.
  10. I grew up watching reruns of the original series and have seen old films 2-4. I absolutely love the Abram's films, although admittedly the first is somewhat weak. With lack of much else to watch lately I've started watching some Next Gen and am quite surprised to find that I like it a lot more than the original series.
  11. Getting stocked up for reading materials to take to the beach and yesterday I bought Foundation and Gravity Dreams.
  12. So at the moment my only source for anime is an app I've got on my ipod and I've been working through Bleach. I just finished the Soul Society arc(praise harmony, that dragged on really bad) and there's maybe 30-50 filler episodes next, should I watch them? If nothing much happens than I would definitely prefer to just move on, and even some character development I'm totally fine missing, but if there's some plot points or anything really important I'd be willing to rush through them.
  13. She wrote the Divergent trilogy, just look through the posts to see our reviews of the series. Another series I'm disappointed in is the Runelords quad. The first book was great, a lot like a mixture of traditional fantasy and a Warbreaker/Mistborn mashup. After that, the books have just been disappointing and going downhill. Feels like the spark of imagination and originality got swamped by tradition and cliche with some pretentious preaching. I'm working on the last book, hoping that the ending will help redeem all the effort I've had to put into it to keep chugging through.
  14. Well my sister is home from BYU now Just got back last night
  15. Currently just watching Bleach really. Around episode 60, probably going to skip all the filler episodes which my app has kindly pre-labled for me. It is pretty good, but really what I want to watch right now is Kekkaishi or Houshin Engi but there's no lace for me to watch them.
  16. I think the spike would have trouble holding that much investure. Remember you can only store so much in something at a time.
  17. Miss Contrary used to be quite well known really, rather surprisingly so considering her post number(I think it was fairly small). Sigh, I miss those days, when Swimmingly was the creepiest person with a spike Feather was still infamously fangirly Chaos.....was just Chaos as usual. I wish that I was better off, but I haven't been very active of late and never in a lot of the more mainstream areas of the forums.
  18. Another Modesitt fan!!! MWahahahhaha, yes  Except I stopped reading the Spellsong books after the third F-
  19. I distinctly got that impression from the first book. I was only able to read the first two books, they were so rusting slow, but I definitely remembering thinking that that kind of background was a really neat way of getting the science in the fantasy.
