I just finished reading the Life of Pi, and I have to say the movie did an excellent job with that one. Stuck really true to it while also providing wonderful visuals. I did enjoy the extra time given to Pi's religious beginnings, but honestly this is one of those very very rare times where I can say that you can read or watch it and it really doesn't matter because they're both very good.

What are you playing right now?

Which weapon family do you like? I love the glaives, but my sister refuses to use anything but the beads. -

Don't let me or Delightfull get going on these.....We really loathe them. -
You didn't happen to have hacked Brandon's laptop of everything did you Skaa? Because I have to say that I am seriously impressed by this theory and the amount of work put into it than probably any other one I've seen by you or any one else on here.

I've never heard of the show honestly, admittedly I am new ish to the anime fandom( only started watching stuff three years ago I think). Currently I'm rewatching Angel Beats! I just love this show so much, the laughs, the sad crying, and the happy crying all so good

I grew up with Age of Mythology, played a little Age of Empires but could never enjoy it as much. Later on I played through Starcraft from the original to Wings of Liberty. tLotR Battle for Middle Earth games were probably my favorites, although I don't own 2 anymore and never had the expansion pack.

Do we have a list of all of the various clans that are parts/sworn to the Empire?

You should at least read Speaker of the Dead and then try Xenocide, if you don't like them, stop. Personally the characters drove me insane and I really struggled finishing the Ender series. You can always move to the Bean books if you struggle with Ender's as the Bean books feel generally closer to the original.

I just finished Hunter, the latest Superhuman book by Michael Carol. His books are very good so far, YA, any of you who have really enjoyed the Reckoners would probably like them. Start with the Quantum Prophecy trilogy (they start fairly average, but Carol's skill grows) and then continue to the Superhuman prologue series.

I think there's been theorizing that, much like greatshells, Ryshadium possibly form bonds with spren which give them their super-normal abilities.

I'm a big fan of studio c, and watched the first season of granite flats......but aside from that I really don't enjoy the channel.

I got my new Mistborn hoodie -
Finished Guards! Guards! and storm it, it was good. Really glad that I found another book as good as Mort, well worth the multiple tries to find another Pratchett. Started Powdermage book 2 last night.

How are the prototype Peter-bots working at the moment? Are the continual additions to team Sanderson merely aliases for said bots?
-
Started Guards! Guards! Really really good so far, enjoying it just as much as I did Mort. I'm glad that I've been able to get into the book easily as I've had trouble with many of Pratchett's books, such as The Truth and Equal Rites, which are supposed to be some of the best I think.

The closest relationship between them is actually that one of the villagers from the Two Rivers and one of the villagers from Kaladin's home village are both named Cenn. Apparently it was completely on accident.

Just put in my order for the mistborn hoodie :D Can't wait for it to get here. Although as there wasn't much info on what the size and material is I might need to exchange, find out later I suppose. Someone actually made a fan trailer for Mistborn a couple years ago that was so good Brandon posted a link to it on his blog and it used scenes from there. -
Ahhh, Ready Player One, that book was so much fun. I've read it three times I think, I learned to love a lot of Oingo Boingo songs because of that book. I'm really looking forward to Cline's next book.

Finished God Emperor of Dune and The Monogram Murders. God Emperor redeemed Children, I'm really glad that I finally got around to reading it and I'll be getting Heretics soon ish. Monogram Murders....it had a lot of the identifying marks of a Poirot, but it was ridiculous and felt really contrived. Working on book three of the Runelords and Raising Steam, will probably start the next Powdermage once I finish the Runelords book.

There's the yellow sugar duck candies

Those wheel of time carts need to be made soon so that we can use them for the 15 mistborn books(he'll get in an accident and that's the funnest thing he'll be able to do, all on accident) and the Stormlight Archive.
