A mistborn lightweaver. You can soulcast your metals so you never run out, and can change disguises on the fly.

So for some reason it didnt post yours in the quote so ill reply below: First, Stark is fueling his thrusters with his arc reactor. Where is the fuel being kept to cause this tiny rocket to reach such speeds but keep it at such a small size? Second, hover mode means he is moving slowly, making himself more of a target. How does he not moving make it easier to hit Vin? You also did not respond to the range requirement nor the charge rate, nor the fuel requirement that would drain his armor Third, refer to the OP, or earlier in the thread. Vin gets all of the metals. That includes bendalloy. That was the scenario presented by the OP. Please read the entire thread. Fourth, since when is blasting with satellites normally in his repertoire? he used one to fight the pheonix force, and one to blast the hulk. Out of the 60 or so armors he has (probably more), two times equals normally? I think not Fifth, please refer to my earlier response to that missile in this post, as well as my responses regarding tin and bendalloy which both you disregarded.

So few things. First I was not disputing that the entity could be a shard, I was pointing out that if the only reason that the entity could manipulate in such a manner was because it was a shard, then Harmony should have been able to meet it toe to toe as he is a shard as well. Secondly, just because another Vessel would have held a shard longer than Harmony, does not mean it would necessarily be able to out think/out position harmony. Preservation and Ruin started on equal footing in lengths of time holding shards, yet Preservation was able to out maneuver Ruin with the aid of his better future sight. All shards have a varying degree of future sight. Finally, Harmony is holding two shards, which would be in an upfront battle, stronger than an another shard alone. So I was merely stating I am interested in finding out what this entity is and how it was able to so aptly out maneuver Harmony. Could this give more credence to the theory that the entity is Odium? Or is it that Bavadin is trickier than we know, and could very well double cross Odium down the line. I want to get to know this spider as it were.

First, any object, regardless its thrust, still need to build momentum. The missile does not go from launch pad to 15,000 miles. It needs distance to build up to that speed. Second, you still did not answer where is he hiding this missile that is larger than his entire suit to launch from? That is the type of missile that goes the speeds you offer. Regarding the unibeam, please see the quotes below from this reference: http://ironman.wikia.com/wiki/Unibeam_(film) "The Unibeam is a secondary repulsion blast that comes out of Iron Man's RT. It has to be used wisely, as if it is used too much, it can rapidly drain the suit's power. It has also been shown that it can be used as a search light. First used by theMark II armor, the Unibeam has to be charged, therefore it has been used rarely." "The suit's entire power can be diverted into the Unibeam to perform the blast which can defeat even the most powerful beings like Thor or Hulk . Like in Iron Man the video game and 2 the other systems nearly go down. It cannot be used while in flight mode, only in hover or ground mode." So the unibeam cannot be used while flying (moving target), must be charged up, and uses most if not all of his power. Beams are not heatseaking. Every instance we have seen the unibeam used is either at point blank range or a stationary target. So given all of these limitations, how is Stark supposed to hit Vin? He has to remain still in order to target her, and close range, during which she can throw pushes and pulls at his actual suit to throw off his aim. This is also not counting the amount of time he needs to charge up while she is moving all around. And finally, (keeping in mind I haven't even needed to mention atium yet), she can burn bendalloy right when it fires (which she will expect as he has to charge it), showing her the exact trajectory so she may step calmly out of the way. Then Tony is mostly drained and unless he wants a dead suit of armor, he won't be using it again. Where does satellites come in? The OP gave him his armor. The only "satellite" that was ever mentioned was Veronica aka the Hulk Buster. Which again all that was already discussed. I could post my responses to that again if you like. Or if you would like to allow Tony planetary satellite busters (like the one he used to fight the pheonix force), then Vin gets to burn the mists and crush Tony like an tin can. Finally Wax is a iron ferring and steel misting. He does not have tin. Vin does. She will see and hear that missile coming and pin point it long before it gets close. Not to mention she can hear it launched, burn bendalloy, pinpoint it, and then act even if this magical missile of yours can somehow can go from 0 to 15,000 miles per hour in 0 seconds.

Except Harmony is also a shard and this entity was able to accomplish all of this right under his nose. That takes experience and skill.

I believe the main theory right now, (which personally I agree with), is that each of the Heralds are acting as the 10 fools possibly as result of breaking the oathpact. So Nale focuses on punishment instead of justice, Shalash is destroying instead of creating, Jezrien instead of leading, is well....drooling lol and so on.

What I find very interesting is that based on the WoB, there is another party with enough knowledge to know there was a resistance between Harmony and Paalm, knew the nature of said resistance, and was able to position a pawn into place to force said resistance to a head resulting in Paalm "coming to the dark side" as it were just like it wanted. That is some A level manipulation skills right there.

Yeah, all of these points have already been brought up and responded to earlier in the thread. First, you state the missile would be flying at thousands of miles an hour (which is a speed clocked for a missile that is larger than Iron Man himself. So not sure where you think he is going to hide that pocket rocket in his suit), but then you state he will be firing it from high in the atmosphere. If he is firing it from so high up, then she has plenty of time to see it coming from far away to duralumin push on the stabilizers and fins to screw up its trajectory. She doesn't have to push on the entire missile, so she won't be crushed. As mentioned earlier she would not have to hold him down. If she pushed on his chest piece, while pulling on his helmet while burning duralumin, Tony gets beheaded. That then lead to the discussion of the aluminum suit, which is then gone into detail back and forth.

I thought it was stated the death rattles was the result of an Unmade (forgot which one), while Dalinar's visions were from Honor?

I cannot speak for the other members of the meeting, but for Melhi, she doesn't care if she really is a brain in a jar, or a cripple, what matters is defying them. Beating them. It does state that ever single one of them are arrogant rulers of their own world. The level of egotism to have an entire universe centered on you, but then to know there is someone greater that can push you around at their whim? That you are only the center of that galaxy because they feel like it? That has to gall them. Then there is the fact that I mentioned that we have no idea what if anything at all that the Wode has said is true. It seems to be that definitely Melhi, if not all the members of the meeting are treating this as true. Its slightly like plato's cave. All they have seen are those heads. They want to see the faces for themselves, even if they gotta cut off their feet to get out of the chains to do it.

About that unknown force/spike... (Minor Emperor Soul Spoilers)
Pathfinder replied to What's a Seawolf?'s topic in Mistborn
Elantrians can still use their powers away from Elantris. Elantris is not the reason they have their powers. It is a giant amplifier. Their powers would not be so overwhelming if it wasn't for Elantris itself. The location based limiter seems to be more in the forms the power takes. So the aons have to involve the base aon that is shaped of that particular land. The forgery stamps need to form that landmass. Possible Dakhor bones have designs that are similar to Fjordjell land mass. The magical potions Hrathen's underlining makes requires specific stirring motions which might mimic that land. Finally I would not be surprised if the chaysan forms mimic their land mass as well. -
Ok I am utterly shocked because I typed in a search word into the interview database, and the WoB I was looking for actually came up! lol INTERVIEW: Oct 12th, 2015 Shadows of Self-Oak Brook, IL ARGENT Was Bloody Tan influenced and/or controlled by Harmony or one of his agents? During those introductory events [?]? BRANDON SANDERSON Controlled by Harmony? No. ARGENT Was he controlled or influenced by anyone outside of himself? BRANDON SANDERSON [Sounds like he's about to say “yeah”] RAFO.

Only thing is we do not know for a fact that they are only brains in a jar, nor do we know for a fact how much time has passed. Being hooked up to a computer could have made them experience centuries in their minds, but only hours in the real world. We have no idea if any information coming from the Wode is reliable whatsoever. And I think that is the purpose of the group in the meeting. They want out to find out for themselves.

I could have sworn there was a WoB where he stated Harmony was not controlling Bloody Tan.

A war between Scadrial (era 2) and Roshar
Pathfinder replied to Bowiespoon's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Yeah but if you go back and read through the whole thread, it goes back and forth, and all around regarding who and what is against who and what. So I was responding to your reasoning as to why the roughs should not be included. Your reasoning was that they would not want to ally with Elendel given the political climate at the time. So given the political climate at the time of Way of Kings is that the highprinces are fractured and distrust each other. Now I believe it is this thread where I pointed out in order to get a true weighing of strengths and weaknesses in battle, then politics need to be thrown out. It needs to be a one to one comparison to weapons and troops. Otherwise there are too many unknowns in the conditions of Roshar at the time of the Everstorm, as well as too many unknowns from the political scene, secret societies on both planets, as well as motivations of the shards to tell. That is why I focused on replying to your reasoning rather than the OP. The OP has already been replied to edit: unless I have of course confused it with the two or three other threads on the same topic lol. But regardless the points still stand -
Well unless I missed something, we do not know the technical break down of how emotional allomancy works. So we do not know if it is triggering dopamine, or any other cerebral chemicals or not. I admit this is a far oversimplification, but my mentality is, it is emotional allomancy, animals and creatures have emotions, so it affects them lol.

A war between Scadrial (era 2) and Roshar
Pathfinder replied to Bowiespoon's topic in Cosmere Discussion
But by that logic each of the Highprinces are autonomous and distrust each other. Their armies would be fractured. Add to the fact that there wouldn't be gem hearts to drive them, and you may have one or two armies of about 10 thousand each (that was from an earlier post where I believe someone quoted how large each highprince's army is). So if according to you, the war would not unite Elendel, with the roughs and the southerners, then the war certainly wouldn't unite the highprinces of Alethkar. -

Idris, since I can always leave with said breath and travel to Hallandren to earn more. Would you rather be a mistborn in our world (which means you have to hide your powers, fearing discovery possibly resulting in capture and experimentation by the government, and other various superhero problems), or a twin born in the Wax and Wayne world where your power is known, accepted, and could be used freely, but other people have abilities too.- 954 replies

A war between Scadrial (era 2) and Roshar
Pathfinder replied to Bowiespoon's topic in Cosmere Discussion
So genuine question, not necessarily trying to prove anything, I am actually asking and would like an answer lol. If the allomantic strength of the individual, would affect the propensity for it coming up in the population and its strength in said population, then why could a Tineye (Straff) with a misting mistress produce a mistborn (Zane)? Yes I know Staff is a noble, but my question is how based on what you state, could two parents with one power each, produce a son with all of the powers? If you are discounting the roughs due to political/chronological limits, then due to the Everstorm, the Alethi armies could be devastated and be unable to field an army of any sort (the damaging forces of the storm itself, and the potential rise of the voidbringers). I believe I mentioned this earlier in the thread, or another thread. So Elendel may not have the Roughs, but Roshar may not have an organized army at all. -
I am not disputing a speed enhancement, nor even a reflex. What I am stating is these enhancements are still lifting or moving an incredibly heavy suit of armor. That weight has to be taken into account. Unfortunately I do not have my kindle on me to quote the scenes where Dalinar has to build up to a running speed to outrun his honor guard and other such examples. A person in full plate is going to be more lumbering than a person with no armor at all. The strength, and speed enhancements are to compensate for this. But till I provide the quotes (which I will), you are right it is my opinion. I am off from work the remainder of the week, so it shouldn't be long before I follow up.

You are still moving in armor that is impossible to move unaided/unpowered. Being able to be stronger and faster in armor, still does not make you faster than a pewter burner. It makes you faster than someone else in armor without the strength and speed boost

Full Feruchemist. Can always carry my metalminds around on me where ever I go, while shardplate has the rather big disadvantage of not being able to sleep and or defecate in it. Well you could, but it would not be fun....... Would you rather gain an ability at the hand of hemalurgy and know someone had to die for you to get this ability, or gain an ability as a boon from the nightwatcher, but chance on a curse that will suck- 954 replies

Lightweavers are the most powerful Radiant(WoR Spoilers)
Pathfinder replied to KnightGradient's topic in Stormlight Archive
What it comes down to it is we just don't know. Although it is logical that if there is one order that can use a different form in order to "swear oaths" without actually having to "swear oaths", then it is possible for there to be more than one order that does so. But we also have no other proof that is the case. So pretty much until we hear all the other orders' form of "oaths", there can always be a chance of one other that is unique as well. -
But I still don't think it comes down to "weight" class. The beings that shattered it, did so by attacking it with energy or physical attacks. A shardblade phases through an object it cuts. So is there any energy that the shield is actively trying to absorb and redirect? I think not. The asgardian metal is only much much much much much later in the comic books after it had been broken numerous times by that point. The shield, much like iron man's armor has had various incarnations and compositions. There was even a point where Cap just used a plain ole steel shield.

Poison Kaladin. I can still warn him after he ate it, and he could try puking it up which depending on the poison might work. Or I could just hand him the antidote after. Would you rather read through Brandon's books as they are released like everyone else, or right now have everything, the entire cosmere story spoiled in a quick few sentence sum up but then not be allowed to read the books after?- 954 replies
