We are going to be watching this thread very closely. Be respectful. We might close this down any time.

That's exactly what I mean.

I feel like the Realmatic-centric approach should just go on the Realmatic Theory page for now, right?
-
We moved it there because there was an article created, named Astronomy, which we moved to Physical Realm, as we felt Astronomy was a very vague name for the subject matter. I'm honestly not sure what I'd prefer to do with it. I don't think this is particularly optimal either. I feel like that article could (mostly) be merged into the main cosmere article, which I intend to finish my update of in the next two weeks. The cosmere article could mention each system and other big celestial things, like the Scar, and then for more details on each system, we put it in its respective system page? Since we are having system pages, having this "PhysicalRealm"/Astronomy overview page does not seem useful. What do you think on that? I'm trying to figure out exactly how to lay out what should be the updated "Planets" section on the cosmere article and I think this is the solution to this problem. EDIT: As a note, the cosmere page is going to be cut back on Scadrial stuff, so I don't think more astronomy stuff will be bad. It's relevant. (Not that length is bad, but on a page that big it is important to stay focused, and in my initial draft I didn't hit that mark.)

Send me screenshots please. This is very strange and not intended.

Mistborn Anniversary Leatherbound on Sale Tonight, New Posters, New Final Empire Map
Chaos commented on Chaos's article in Brandon and Book News
And if you want to be slightly triggered, look at the Final Empire map. It has Fadrex City labeled as the capital of the Western Dominance, but Hero of Ages makes it clear that happened under Cett's direction as he formed his own kingdom, after the Collapse. The capital prior to that was Tremredare. Oops.- 3 comments

The time is here. There is an anniversary edition of the first Mistborn book, in gorgeous leatherbound, and it's going on sale tonight, December 1st, at midnight EST. That's just over six hours away. It does have a hefty price tag, like the Elantris leatherbound, at $100. But I will say that the Elantris leatherbound was spectacular, and its first printing went out of stock rapidly. If you're interested, don't delay. Note that these Mistborn leatherbounds will not be guaranteed for a Christmas delivery, due to Brandon's tour schedule and tour delays. There's awesome stuff in the Mistborn leatherbound. Let Kara from Dragonsteel Entertainment explain: Speaking of the Final Empire art, it is spectacular. You can also buy a poster of it, which I am absolutely doing right now. It has a fantastic style to it, and is simply gorgeous. It actually has a date on it, 1021, which is the first time canonically in the Final Empire time period that we explicitly have a date on something. (1021, by the way, is three years before the end of The Well of Ascension.) Also, it canonizes locations mentioned The Eleventh Metal, and in in the Mistborn Adventure Game, and if I'm not mistaken, it includes brand-new locations on the imperial map. Maybe I missed things in the Mistborn Adventure Game, but I absolutely do not recall Lekal City in the Southern Dominance, for one. I'm pretty sure this is brand-new Final Empire lore. And that makes me unreasonably excited. Maybe these places are mentioned in some of the Mistborn Adventure Game supplements, though, but I can't find references to them. Feel free to zoom in on this poster and post your thoughts, because I'd love to hear them. Okay, I'm going to shut up about Final Empire geography now, because there's also some fantastic pieces of art from Arcanum Unbounded that you can buy. There's the star map of the cosmere, which were the endsheets for Arcanum Unbounded, and there are beautiful, colorized versions of each star system, too. The colorized versions are truly incredible, so at least click the link and zoom in on them.

Remember that I very sternly made Waynespren stop the impersonation. There are no exceptions to the multiple account rule. If you want to get instantly banned then sure go for it, but do not try me on this matter.

There are some images that need approving for some reason which I am working through. But, I don't see any more from you, King's wit. Unless I am blind...

I'm traveling today but I'll look at these and also fix whatever permission error that is doing this.

In their respective subforums, yes, but outside, no. Still, it can be difficult with the Events boards with certain questions so be careful. -
[Edgedancer Spoilers] The Stump might be from Nalthis
Chaos replied to tobar14's topic in Stormlight Archive
Thanks Tobar, no worries -
It's an issue I'm aware of but don't quite know how to fix. Try and avoid the icons. Sorry I thought I had a potential fix a while back but it did not really work.

I can't actually remove specific forums from the recent topic list. This is the primary reason we flag titles there. I'm not sure I want to make an AU essay subforum. Since I can't remove it from the recent topic list, I don't think we gain too much. But I am up to be persuaded. I think topic titles haven't been too bad, except for maybe one (which was difficult to see how it should be named, and be useful without being a bit spoilery.) It's a careful balance. I am generally resistant to an AU essay subforum because that information could be relevant for other theories and I don't want people to be forced to only discuss that material in a spoiler board, as would usually be the case.
-
Because the way the book is laid out, preceding every story there is a system chart and then an essay. But if there's not a story there, then it would genuinely be weird for there to be an essay with nothing after it. It just structurally doesn't work in the book. I'm sad we don't have it, but that's why.

Please flag these with [AU Spoilers] in the title.

Thanks for the apology, Windy. We can all keep things respectful of everyone's opinions. -

That tone was a bit disrespectful. Windrunner kept it respectful. You can do the same, right? Other comments, I can't really make any remarks regarding content. But let's just keep it all respectful on all sides. EDIT: For the record as well, I am talking to a few other people in this thread. -
There are still matters I must discuss with him. Soonish perhaps. The details need not concern you.

A theory about Yolen and the 4th Era of Mistborn

Agreed Have an upvote, since I missed that post. I heartily agree, obviously. -
There are beta readers here. I can understand if it is not something to your taste but I feel it evokes who Lift is. It's fitting. She has a lot of growth to do. She's young now. Why not wait and see?

No, this is just the usual number of the book. At releases (and copies from Wellers), the books are numbered so that they are a bit more special than regular signed books.
