That earned a raised eyebrow from him. Adrastos nodded his thanks, then set out to his room.

As soon as Adrastos closed the door to his room, he immediately sighed with relief and felt his shoulders relax from the apparent tension that they were holding. He ran his hand through his hair, pushing the black strands from his eyes. It had been a while since he'd encountered people with powers like him, but it was still strange nonetheless. Just knowing that there were people like him somewhere out there made him uneasy, because that made him wonder if they would expose him for who he is. Sure, his friends were generally accepting of his powers, but Adrastos didn't know how other people would react to him using his powers.

He looked up at his bare room, seeing only the cot and nightstand. At least she provided me with a blanket, he thought, waving his hand in the air. Immediately, the blanket rose in the air and straightened itself on the cot, tucking itself into the corners of whatever the cot apparently had. It wasn't like he was going to sleep a lot tonight, but at least Adrastos could make his bed. He didn't know how he would spend this time, not after he had seen the girl from his drawing.

He wasn't one that believed in the supernatural, or even in coincidences, but this one was making him question. Adrastos walked over to the cot, sitting down and placing his elbows on his knees. He mostly didn't care who the girl was, but it was strange that he had been drawing her not moments before meeting her. How many people had he drawn that were from real life? Perhaps all of them were people from real life, but he hadn't met them or known them before he'd drawn them.

Stretching a bit, Adrastos knew that he should be getting some rest no matter how awake he was feeling. He reached into his jackets pocket, and felt something. Raising an eyebrow, he pulled it out and then smiled. It was one of his sketching pencils. He remembered putting this and a small sketchbook in his jacket, in case he saw something that he wanted to draw while walking outside. Adrastos opened his jacket and pulled out his small sketchbook, smiling again. He opened it to find some hasty sketches of people walking by him, the trees, and even the chirping birds that he sometimes came across. If he were to really look, he would find an eraser somewhere in the many pockets of his jacket, but he was fine with what he found.

With a little effort, he lifted the nightstand next to him with his powers and summoned it to be in front of him. Good thing that the lamp has a long enough cord, he looked at the floating nightstand setting itself down in front of him. With a wave of his hand, the lamp now lifted in the air. He needed the room to sketch, even if it were limited. After a bit of concentration, he kept the lamp floating a second thought. As long as he knew that the lamp was floating, he could sketch to his hearts content. There will probably be times where he needed to look at it and concentrate on it floating, but it wasn't anything he couldn't accomplish. He sometimes had to do these kinds of things at home.

Now that he knew what the girl looked like and a bit of what she acted like, Adrastos could capture the look in her silver eyes; he could capture that soul he could see whenever he looked there. Everyone had some sort of part of their soul showing in their eyes, and it was his job to capture it and what it looked like to the passerby.

With that, he went to work throughout the night.

Sorry about the wait here we go.

Ella vaguely remembered going to bed the previous night. All she could remember was on falling onto the bed, then waking up in the morning. As she walked out of her room she saw Jackson leaning against the wall. “What’s wrong?” she asked, she saw a tear on his cheek.

”I just wish mom and dad were here to see us, and I feel bad about the last thing I said to them.” He said quietly.

“Oh...” Ella said, not knowing how to answer. Jackson wiped his cheek with his sleeve.
“Alright, I am going to have to be out of town for a week or so. Can you keep the missions going by yourself?” He asked, confident.

“Sure! Where are you going?” She asked

“If I told you it wouldn’t be a secret.” He said smiling, then leaped out the window.

Vienna woke to a start. “What the heck?” Where was she? She crept out of bed then slowly open the door. It squeaked. Great She thought. She saw Ella spin on her. “Good morning.” Vienna said to Ella.

Glissando woke early in the morning. Very early in the morning, given the darkness in her room. She stretched and illuminated the room with a ball of light, which gently hovered over her hand. She got dressed and left the room, smiling at Vienna and Ella. "Good morning."

Gukotz gave Asnest a look laden with disappointment.

"Nothing?" he asked, almost pleading for Asnest to contradict the statement.

Meekly, Asnest proffered his empty claws. He stared at the ground, unable to meet the aged serpent's eyes.

Gukotz groaned. Everyone else had managed to at least find something. Even a pigeon was better than nothing. Surely a pigeon wasn't too hard? For Asnest, it seemed, even that was too much.

Gukotz sighed. He hated to do this, but they needed every scrap they could find, if they hoped to survive the Expansion.

"Go," he said. "And don't come back until you find something."

“Alright. Jackson left to good some sort of mission so that leaves me in charge, I suppose.”

Vienna felt chills run down her spine. “Alright,” she started. “So you know that Mission I went on with Jackson about a year ago? So after I had been stabbed, and I told Jackson to go, a hooded figure came up to me and healed me. Then the figure told me to run. Ever since Yesterday I have been on the run, looking for you and Jackson.”
