"YOU LISTEN TO ME." Wendy wrested herself from the guards' grasps and pushed Caden--not strongly, of course. "I will do anything to make sure that little girl goes free, and you're not going to stop me. Is the king keeping her for a reason? What purpose could he have? If he needs her, then I'll do whatever it takes to take her place. If you have to tear me limb from limb and bleed me out over a scorching flame, then you can be darned sure that I'm going to do it."

Caden tried to grab Wendy as she pushed him, "then you will serve well enough. Tell me where the rest of you traitors are hiding, and I can guarantee that the Raveness doesn't touch your friend."

Okay, I know it's kind of late for this... but do y'all mind if I completely changed Mav and Darrin as characters?  It's kinda late for it, I know, but they're way different than I've been writing them and I don't like it, it's not as fun for me.

"I'mma be out o' a job tomorrow... With those glasses, I'm done for sure, miss. Maybe that's a good thin'... Somethin' tells me, with you bein' 'round, my job'd become a lot harder..." He yawned.

A malicious smile crept onto Caden's lips, "oh, so you're familiar with the Ravenness's reputation? Then you know what will happen if I allow your friend to fall into the Ravenness's hands."

"Nononono. No. You... how can you be happy about this? She's a child!"

"She's a traitor, like you, and if you have ever heard of me, then you wouldn't doubt my threats!" Caden shoved Wendy back against the wall just as the guardsmen grabbed her again. "Now do as I say, or both of your lives are forfeit, do you understand, rebel filth!"

Caden stepped back just enough to whip out his sword, "then do as I say! Your friend was going to reveal the location of your rebel hideout, even if it took the Ravenness to convince her to help us. If you do so now, then you can relieve your friend of any further questioning."

Wendy breathed heavily, barely aware that she was sweating bullets all over her face and Robin's dress. Would Robin blame her for betraying them to save Arabella? Probably not, but still...

"I... I'll tell you what I know," Wendy whimpered. "But you need to prove to me that Arabella's alright first."

Caden leveled his blade at Wendy's chest, his lowering, but still having the seemingly ever present growl. "What would you have me do, filth? She's alive for now, but only so long as you do as I say!"

Caden moved his blade to her neck, "I will only give you this. Escape, and I will kill you and your friend myself!" He gestured for one of the guardsmen to fetch steel shackles, which were brought quickly. As they were prepared to be placed onto Wendy, the guardsman made it clear that they had traces of dried blood on them.

"Now, I will stay with you as my personal guard retrieve the child." A pair of dungeon guards came and relieved Caden's bodyguards. Caden gestured towards his men, who were clad in angular, rough looking steel armor that didn't bother to cover up their veteran appearance. "They will not hesitate to carry out any of my orders, even if it's against a child. Above all, I will not hesitate to give the order, nor carry it out myself!"

Wendy nodded affirmatively, sitting back down at the desk, her hands shaking.

Thanks. I probably won't be able to do either. And yes, of course you'd write Alienor. But fingers crossed you don't have to.

Vapor, do you want to RP the retrieval of Arabella, or just say that she was brought down to Wendy?
