When a paige found him and asked for him to come to the king Brother Tomad had been uterly shocked.

When he saw the state of the room he was less surprised.

If Brother Tomad didn't feel like he SHOULD know of what this was he would have resonded to the insult.

When he finally realized, he took several steps back.

Ara peeked her head into the kitchen and looked around, then sighed. “Where would… oh!” she muttered to herself, then ran up the staircase and knocked on Eleanor’s door.

Nico’s bruised face popped out of the door frame. He looked side to side for a moment before looking down and grinning. “Oh, hi-o, ‘Bella!”

“What happened to your face?”

Nicolae’s face fell and he sighed, opening the door all the way. “You can come in, miss, I’m sure Lady Alienor will like to see you.”

Ara walked into the room and sat on the floor, then looked up at Nico. “First tell me why you’re hurt and then tell me where Wendy is,” she said bossily.

“It’s…. You’re too young to understand, miss Bella. An’ I dunno where Wendy is. We…. We can’t talk anymore. Or else she’ll get hurt.”

Ara folded her arms. “You tell me who hit you and I’ll go hit them. And then we’ll go find Wendy.”
