@Aeoryi, you're number 1 to run the next Long Game. Do you want it? The current MR will end in between 4 and 12 days, probably, so you have a bit of time to decide. If you don't want it, next on the list is @Jo and the Bush, who will absolutely accept running a Long Game, but doesn't currently have one prepared.

Hey everyone, if I run LG113, it will almost certainly be a rerun of a past Long Game, unless I can figure out how to get my Fullmetal Alchemist game prepped. Does anyone have any Long Games they want to see reran?

If you do end up running the game, I would love the opportunity to CoGM with you if you’d be open to that

Depending on the number of signup, a rerun of LG 62/42 could be fun.

Lg 91/72

I like the concept, but I wasn’t here for that, like at all, so idk how it ran

I really want to run a simple game just to give a relieve from the heavy mechanical games we've been having recently, maybe something that can be explained in 50 words or less

Posted

Another option, if we want a simpler game like @Aeoryi is suggesting, would be some kind of Tyrian mod. I like what I ran for LG 106 (no vote manip), but that still has a decent amount of complexity. A further deviation like no mental powers and no Mistborn would make for a fairly simple ruleset. Maybe set it in the Roughs or something.

I keep on thinking of the game by... I wanna say STINK, which was basically if you don't vote you die and there were no other rules

If we’re talking about Past LGs there was one I don’t remember the name, Araris ran it I think, that was Tyrian rules but most interestingly we had to stay in RP for the entire game

I enjoyed that a lot, it might have been my favorite game I’ve played

tbh the writeups are the most difficult part of GMing

I volunteer myself as writeup helper for any to-be GM

So I’m no longer Busy (still busy, just not capital-B Busy).

Buuuut the game I want to run is… complicated and not anywhere close to done. So probably not this one.

Honestly, unless someone specifically wants to be a Co-GM to gain the experience or learn the trade, I tend to say no. I don't really know what to do with Co-GM's, because I don't like to share. Like, I want to do all the writeups, and I want to make sure the spreadsheet is accurate, and I don't want to have to take some one else's opinions on doing things. It's a toxic trait, but it always feels like someone's stealing my glory when I let them Co-GM with me as a peer instead of a trainee. I'm really not Co-GM material. It's something I've accepted about myself. If it was 'the other way around' it would work? Like, if someone else had a game they wanted to run, but wanted help with, I'd happily be their Co-GM, but they would have to actually be in charge.

In creative endeavors, I need hierarchy, not equality. Soooo, thanks for the offer, but before I say yes to anyone Co-GM'ing, I would need to know what exactly they expect from being a Co-GM.

You've got until the current MR ends.

Yeah, that's the problem. I'd want a guarantee of at least 20 players to run an anti-faction game. I don't think I'll be rerunning Master of the House.

Interesting. I don't think I played in either of those games. Very interesting. I can already see how I might change such a game in light of Knights of Wind and Truth.

I cannot think of any such game. I've done some searches and can't find it.

Literally could not be me.

Noted. You have been marked as Active, although you're only signed up for a LG and a BT

That makes a lot of sense, and to be honest, I think I’d probably have a similar stance if I were running a game myself

I don’t think I’d like to be a CoGM if all I would do is track actions and stuff like that, I would want to at least have some deciding power so I don’t think we’d work well together

I am willing to take a co-GM under any one of the following conditions

- A newer/inexperienced co-GM for the purposes of being able to see how running a game works and with little expectation to have the responsibility of doing rollovers/processing (outside of supervision)

- A more experienced or reasonably reliable co-GM who can run the game in the event of an unexpected absence. Would not require much involvement.

- A more or less experienced co-GM who wants to help run the game with the expectation that I run the majority of the game and they fulfill a supportive role
