Okay, this game is closed to signups. There will be 8 players. I'm currently randing the cards and will PM them to the players.

This is the starting game state. Since this game has 8 players, there are 4 of each character card and 20 cards total. Each player has 2 cards, so there are 4 cards remaining in the court deck. You should have received a PM with your cards.

Please review the instructions in the original post. Any discussions for the game must be held within the game thread. You cannot use PMs to talk with other players. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask here or in your PM.

Well, he's currently the same Allegiance as you, so not sure it was a good idea. But you can indeed challenge someone even of the same Allegiance.

Ookla the Shadowed lost the challenge and chose to lose their own Ambassador.

00kla received a new card to replace their Ambassador, then chose a card from the exchange.

Ahhh yes, when I randed the order and did the list, I did think how odd that was. Though you got 2nd place last game, so turn order doesn't quite matter.  

BTW, I want to make sure everyone saw the Game Play section of the OP. In particular, if all players are not of the same Allegiance, then play will continue only if the next player is the opposite Allegiance or after a player from the opposite Allegiance has acknowledged that they accept the action. We need to make sure that if two players in a row have the same Allegiance, they don't just allow the first player to get away with dubious claims by quickly taking their turn next.

Since she's the opposite Allegiance, she can take her turn whenever and doesn't need to wait for others to challenge. But anyone can still challenge in the meantime.

Haha, partially. Though you aren't the only one that gets the pronouns mixed up. I see it happen often enough.

I actually got inspired to do it when I recently saw a Forum Mafia (like SE) game in signups on another site. I saw that the host had done this and wondered why I've never seen anyone do this before. It seems like a great thing to do to help all the players.
