Prince of Ravens he/him Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Spoilers from RoW, obviously. So Windrunners plate is made out of windspren. But what about other orders? What are lesser sprens of Cryptics and Inkspren that can form into plate? We have seen confirmation that Jasnah swore 4th ideal, but we didn't get a description of what kind of spren made her plate. Any speculation?

The ? Marks more uncertain areas. Bondsmith- gloryspren Elsecaller- logicspren (?) Lightweaver- creativityspren (?) Edgedancer- lifespren The rest I don't know/ haven't heard theories about.

Sounds like those are a sure thing. But it's kinda strange how little we know of other orders. Peakspren for stonewards and Mistspren was it for Truthwatchers? Here's one: Once the Herald portraits came out, it was clear that each was surrounded by their order's cousin spren. The list below seems to have been the consensus. I think the first 7 are definite, but the final 3 are still somewhat unclear. The spren on Nale's portrait have been confirmed to be the blue ones, and mandras are not blue. The rest of the list is sound. Although there are those who would argue that each fatspren has a different cousinspren.

We’ve seen gemstones enhance lifespren, which in turn enhanced plant growth. People on Roshar argue whether or not a spren actually creates what it is named after. All of this points to the idea that cousin spren might each be able to do a different surge. Spoiler for Dawnshard: Spoiler We’ve seen several occurrences of luckspren using gravitation. Therefore, I am absolutely sure that luckspren are the cousin spren of skybreakers.
