OH MY GOSH SO MANY FEELINGS!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad I joined this, thanks to Mat!

Yes, I was AnonRBer. I was so excited after I said that and then Quinn PMed me... I was afraid to tell you in case it kept you from trusting me when trust was vital. I had so many plans, I was so sad(and yet so happy) when I got elim-killed. First time! Good job, elims! Good game. Vapor tells me that the only reason I got elim-killed was so that the RBers couldn't communicate without revealing themselves. It was pure luck that they ended up killing the other RBer instead!

I felt so devious, I think I PMed like half of the people and I got... two of the elims right. Vapor and Gears. TJ claimed to me at some point after Quinn had told me that he claimed to her, and that was about the point that I PMed Gears saying that I thought they were TLR and that I needed more evidence to protect them. I only ever RBed once and it was wrong, though. I thought Whysper was an elim(I really need to stop thinking they're 'too nice') and RBed them.

Special thanks to Quinn for being so awesome to RP with! And trusting me! Somebody and I did a bit, it was fun.

Welllll me trusting you isn't exactly surprising. Seeing as I spent a good five cycles trusting Gears...

Somebody F. Inquirious sat there, dying. He had failed. How has he failed? He was experienced. Impossible, as he died he connected to the others, he saw a new mission. The original was returning, he felt sorry for any, who opposed him.

I mean, sometimes you trust people who aren't worthy of it. (*cough*) I'll endeavour to always be trustworthy, though. (I mean, I kind of want to be an elim, but it'd be hard. My Pi doesn't like docs.)

Yeah, so I got a PM from Quinn claiming an RB on Gears in about the 10 minutes between me suggesting the RB'er PM someone and Danex suggesting the PM chain / web.

And then she told me Reading had claimed TLR, and then TJ claimed TLR to me... which is why I thought I was very dead. And lo and behold I was, after immediately telling Quinn to watch out for TJ... oops. Fortunately you two figured it out.

Yeah I was a bit confused about your super cryptic PM. I mean, I assume you realized you were going to die before the last two minutes of the cycle, so why didn't you write a more detailed explanation? It's not like you were bleeding out and whispered your last words into my ear or anything.

I still didnt know if I could trust you... and I didnt want to out TJ in case Reading wasn’t TLR.

And I was more panicking about the conflicting claims than anything... I wasn’t exactly giving it much though :P

Edit: I also didn’t know know I was going to die, I was just suspicious of it.

Wow, congrats to the Elims. :)

Man, I thought for sure at least Aman would get lynched next after the vote manipulation to save him. Oh well. Interesting game. :)

Well, that was short-lived! Thanks for bringing me in, though, regardless.

Congrats to my teammates. You seemed to have done well!

Good game! Thanks for putting this on Mat and Lotus! It was a lot of fun, and it was my first time getting lynched, so that's nice.

At least you're living up to your Ookla name.

I am officially a terrible villager. Good job to the elims, this game was quite fun. Now to go through the death RP for Turtle and figure out why she survived that.

Oh really?

I am a lot more sarcastic in person. I avoid it online because the tone is hard to convey sometimes.

:) I meant the oh really in a sarcastic tone, because that’s how most people say it.

Pro tip from someone who's devoted way too much time to learning how to convey sarcasm via text: If you want to convey "oh really" with sarcasm, don't use the question mark. Either ellipses or no punctuation at all work much better. Also, italicizing the "really" helps too. Like this:
Oh really...

lol yep actually the better pro tip would be: conveying sarcasm is basically mutually exclusive with using question marks, since when you ask a question sarcastically irl you tend to pitch your voice down towards the end of the sentence, rather than up as a question mark suggests.

Edit: With some exceptions, obviously. Also that's at least how I convey sarcasm, and I suppose I can't speak for everyone. But in general, I'm pretty sure the point still stands.

Nah, I do that too. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. :)  thanks.

First off all, I'll just say that I've been waiting for SfS to die throughout the game so I could say... 'You are just Somebody that I used to know'. :P

I've been extremely busy since the last day of Cycle 9, and what little time I had, I spent reading the elim and dead doc, so this is coming a bit late. It's safe to say I've got quite a few thoughts about this game.

@Ooklil' the Wei, it was hilarious watching you go through Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 in the dead doc. I had very much similar feelings about it, but I put it a lot more mildly in the LR doc. I couldn't go after Gears in C2 because I would have been killed (or attempted to) a lot earlier. And I'm probably never going to vote in the first Cycle for you again in a long time.

And since Araris is not there, I'll take up the responsibility of the mandatory-voicing-for-activity post. Generally, I felt the activity of the game was decent (not optimal, but still decent). It's the voting that irked me during the game. There was a grand total of 1 village vote in the cycle that could decide the game. As I've told earlier, I was very busy during the last day of the last cycle, or else I definitely would have annoyed SfS and Danex into voting ( I still don't know why they didn't vote).
Second thing is elim team activity. Of course, you're free to choose any elim strat you feel, it's your team after all. But I feel the villagers will enjoy the game more if the elims are a bit more involved in the game. And it's beneficial to you too, as there's no guarantee that the next village team would take it easy on less-active players. As Gears said in the elim doc, you get better faster if you're more active.

Speaking of @Gears, congrats on your first game as an elim! You've played really well and manage to thrive in the chaos and managed to gain trust of majority of the villagers. Congratulations to you, and the rest of the elims on your win!

For anyone looking to re-run the game, I'd like to give my thoughts on my TLR role. I feel like it was a bit under-powered. Now, I'm possibly the worst-case scenario that could happen to a player with the role, 1 scan in 2 cycles really isn't much at all. Especially if you consider that your target could be killed in the same cycle (*sigh*), and the fact that you could be role-blocked ( speaking of, @Quinn0928 was really about to role-block me??). Add to that, some other player might have chosen to wait till C3 for aligning, which basically gives TLR about 3 scans (if lucky) and that isn't much. I'd recommend giving 1 scan per cycle and see how that goes.
The biggest defence TLR had was that their death would not decrease the no. of opposition players, so both the teams would hesitate to spend 2 cycles killing a player without their death contributing to their win-con. I'm curious to see what would happen if the TLR did count towards the team they aligned with. So that's another to consider if someone decides to re-run the game.

I'm probably forgetting a few things, but I'll just post it if I remember them.

I've saved the best for last. Mat! Congrats on running your first game seamlessly! Seriously, with the amount of PMs this game had, you managed it quite well. You now know why my first 2 games have very limited PMs. :P I hope to play another one of your games soon! I had a lot of fun balancing the line of being helpful and inconspicuous, and generally playing as TLR. Thanks! :)

Oh ho ho my plan is working it seems

Anyways: realized I never read the LR doc, so:

Hey, Just because I'm PMing a lot of people doesn't mean that I tell them all everything :P.

I was planning to RB you in a cycle when you couldn't scan, just in case you were an elim and lying to me. It was back before I learned how exactly your powers work, so I didn't realize that you could scan that turn too... Also I sort of did this thing where I submitted roleblocks I wasn't sure about, and then went back and changed them later. Helped me think.

Yes, but I don't know what not-everything is. :P

Huh, it's the opposite for me. If I stick with my first choice, it'll turn out to be better than if I change my target (as evident by me changing my first scan target from Aman to Ash -_-').

Yeah, well switching seems to work pretty well for me (I switched from Mist to Gears C1, so....)
