Would it kill you to put some reasoning in that?

I'm already dead, right? Unless I can make a counter swing?

My reasoning is as simple as this: There are likely some elims on my vote train, probably not Gears or Fadran, and and out of that group I voted Ghander. (Also, PM reasons)

Edit: What? How do you know this? @Bearer of all agonies

Did you just admit it? Multiple posts attacking gears.

What? What? I retracted my vote on Gears and don't think they are elim. Do you mind quoting the posts for me? (Also, as of now I've given reasoning for both of my votes.)

Edit: What happens when I flip vil? I mean, what info would that give?

I was PMd that Gears was role blocked. I guess... Gears.

Ok, I was wrong. An idea was just forming in my head. hehehehehe. You don't just vote on someone because you got PMed. Maybe you do, but it's sus. Also, you started everyone voting for gears.

I got PMd by 4 different people Gears was rollblocked, which felt like a consensus at the time.

Alright, i've finally skimmed over the backlog. That took a long time.

I don't really understand the Turtle votes, most of them seem like jumping on a train to me. I don't really think Gears is elim, though I did get a PM saying they were roleblocked. I don't really like the PM chain, but I will keep that in mind for later.

Right now I am most suspicious of Ghanderflaffle. It seemed like they were pocketing Fadran, and their earlier posts seemed off.

Of course, you probably shouldn't listen much to what I say, as I am really bad at this. Last game I played, I only had a strong village read on one person, and they were an elim. (Cough Matrim cough)

Oops. For some reason I thought that the cycle ended today.

No, I'm also suspicious of Ghander, mostly because of the seemingly coincidental claim that I was roleblocked by both Fadran/Ghander and turtle at the same time. Since Fadran said that it was Ghander's idea to pin me, I don't know about Fadran, but I think that Ghander and turtle had some level of coordination on that, which suggests to me that they're both elims since they didn't explain it away by saying they had a PM. However, I think it's more likely that we'll get a lynch on turtle at this point, and if they flip village it weakens my case against Ghander as well, so I'm keeping my vote on turtle.

Also, if turtle flips village that suggests that Gears is in fact village; that's because turtle sent *Gears* the message about me, not other people. If Gears were an elim and turtle, another elim, was trying to help him, then turtle would send the message to a lot of people to try to cause confusion. As it is, I haven't heard anything about that (though we still don't know how the message got back around to turtle, unless Fadran and Ghander sent it to more people than just Gears, since Gears hasn't passed it on to anyone that we know of). @eltruT who sent you the message when it got back around to you?

Edit: hold on I'm reading back through my reasoning for the second paragraph and something's off...

Edit edit: right I mean to say if turtle flips elim that suggests that Gears is village. I don't know whether it actually says anything about Gears if turtle flips village, since if turtle was village they wouldn't actually know anything about Gears, so their actions towards Gears could be based off of nothing more than assumptions.

Unless. I will leave my thoughts to myself on this one, as I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter.

When did you send him this PM? And @Channelknight Fadran, when did you get the PM about saying Quinn was roleblocked?

@Ghanderflaffle, even though he's been inactive for most of this.

Well, this has been a fun thread to catch up on. It appears that many new players are in this game, which is great. However, that means I can't use my recollection to see if anyone's acting strangely.

Intriguingly, Shard of Reading managed to survive an attempt on his life. Barring him being the Lord Ruler, the next likeliest explanation is that the kill was blocked. The thread quickly tried to find out who was roleblocked. @Danex proposed some sort of "insane PM chainmail thing" that escaped out into the wild. From what I gather, there was a chain started that implicated @Gears as the player who was roleblocked. Later on, @Channelknight Fadran and @Ghanderflaffle, apparently sent Gears a message that @Quinn0928 was the one who was roleblocked. Curiously, @eltruT apparently also sent a message claiming the same thing. eltruT is now leading in the votes due to his suspicious behavior, with Gears slightly behind him.

@Matrim's Dice If you are roleblocked, are you informed that you were roleblocked? Are you informed, even if you submitted no action? This should help us narrow down the possibilities.

I'm also not sure why eltruT is in the lead right now. The biggest suspects are the people who were theoretically roleblocked. Gears is the only one of those two who actually gained some votes, so my vote is going there.

That... was actually a really good TL;DR. (As a note, I am female)

The *person* who was roleblocked. Turtle, Ghander, and Fadran all apparently made up their accusation that I was, and I can confirm that I was not and that the action that I submitted definitely took effect.

If you are targeted with a roleblock you are told that you were roleblocked. If you submitted no action, however, you are not informed.

She (Ghander) PMd me first, this cycle.

So did Ghander send two different messages to two different people?

Can you tell me when in time? (Actually, is that allowed? It's not quoting but PMs are iffy.)

Around 6pm EST, yesterday. (I asked Matrim and he said this was fine)

Just because someone was mentioned in the PMs doesn't mean that they were the roleblocked elim. In fact, since the only messages in the PM chain were about Gears for a while, earlier in the thread I said that I suspected that it was likely that either the elims put out intentional misinformation or an RBer who didn't block an elim sent out the first message about Gears and the elims let it spread further in order to spread the misinformation. I think that if Gears was actually an elim, the elims would have put out lots of messages that said that someone else was an elim as quickly as possible in order to decrease suspicion on Gears and increase suspicion on a villager. However, the messages about Quinn having been roleblocked started relatively late, didn't spread far, and appeared to be very localized & priimarily targeted toward Gears. Turtle was the first person to send a message about Quinn having been roleblocked and she lied about receiving a message saying so, which is suspicious and odd. Additionally, Turtle claimed that she chose Quinn pretty much at random, but Ghander also sent a PM to Gears about Quinn having been roleblocked, which would be an unlikely coincidence, so it seems coordinated.

Ive said multiple times that I really don't understand this, but will wait to say more until Ghander comes online.

I did to confuse Gears, who I had thought was elim. I no longer think this, partially because of your reasoning and partially because of my own.

This week is spirit week at my school and classes get points by finding an image of a specific animal on class slides & by wearing a specific small costume for each day. Today's costume is sunglasses and this year's animal is a bee. That's amusingly similar to this game's unofficial theme of giant sunglasses & hornets.
