"She's lost a lot of blood... but I think I have the supplies to save her. They're at my house, though..." "Then lead the way! Come on! If we wait any longer, we could lose her!"
Condensation she/her Posted December 10, 2020 Author Posted December 10, 2020 "I can run and get them," Melody volunteered. "I'll run the whole way!"
xinoehp512 he/him Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 "I know a shortcut," responded Capodota. "Over the rooftops. Follow me." He vaulted up the staircase onto the roof and dashed off.
Mystic Syn she/her Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Man, I love being the wounded character and watch people try to save mine even though she has been through things like this before and this is probably one of the tamest things she's ever been through.

Well, they are mordite-inflicted wounds. And there were quite a lot of them. 2 minutes ago, Ookla the Channelknight said: Ellis followed without question. After a minute or so of rooftop-hopping, the group arrived at the destination. "Here we are," said Capodota, opening the door.

Again, probably one of the most tamest things that Q's ever been through. But I see your point and I'll just wait, maybe throw in the occasional rambling if I feel like it.
xinoehp512 he/him Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 (edited) Capodota dashed down a set of stairs into the basement. There were sounds of rummaging around, then an 'aha!' He came back up with a jar of glowing green liquid, a few feet of tubing, and some bandages. "Here," he said. "Start wrapping up these cuts." I will say that yes, she has been on the brink of death multiple times in her life, probably more than ten or fifteen times if we want a specific number.

xinoehp512 he/him Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Just now, Ookla the Channelknight said: "What is that?" "Animation fluid," said Capodota. "Not as good as blood, but it'll do the trick until her body can replenish her supply."

"It helps with animation, too, if you use it something non-living." 3 minutes ago, Mystic Syn said: Oh, no really? xinoehp512 he/him Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 "Yes. Don't worry- the body will purge it eventually, as it replaces it with blood. At worst she'll find her thoughts a bit fuzzy for a week or so."

Well, it's in her job description. Plus, as you have seen before, she has a duty right now to protect this ragtag group of adventurers. This often requires putting yourself right on death's doorstep, but it's also something that she is familiar with.
Condensation she/her Posted December 10, 2020 Author Posted December 10, 2020 Melody ran to fetch Gerald. He'd probably want to be with the rest of them, and he might not know where they'd gone.
The Ward's Guard he/him Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 I have had the realization that I missed the opportunity to bring Dr. Tormaris back in for a scene. Pity.
