I'll tell you sometime later when we're not in present company, her eyes said. 1 minute ago, Ookla the Reserved said: "I'm going to need a bit more explanation, too," said Gerald, scratching his noggin. "What exactly have you two been up to?" 1 minute ago, Ookla the Grammatical said: "So now what?" "Y'know, I have no idea what's going on right now," she said, turning her gaze back to the group. "And I'm not sure what our next step is."

xinoehp512 he/him Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 There was the sound of footsteps on the stairs as Capodota emerged from the basement. His eyes widened near-imperceptibly as he caught sight of Gerald. "Why, where did you come across this fine specimen of Cephalopoda?" he asked.
Condensation she/her Posted December 13, 2020 Author Posted December 13, 2020 "Of what? This is our friend Gerald."
xinoehp512 he/him Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 "Friend, hmm?" Capodota sidled casually over to the front door. "Interesting, interesting..."

xinoehp512 he/him Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 "I'm sorry," apologized Capodoto. "Believe me, this isn't personal." With a loud and even more ominous whee-do-whee-do-whee-do, a piercing alarm began to blare.

Condensation she/her Posted December 13, 2020 Author Posted December 13, 2020 Melody clapped her hands over her ears. “I don’t know what’s happening, but I think we should get out of here!” she yelled over the sirens.

xinoehp512 he/him Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 "I," proclaimed the robot, "am Dr. Who Octopus!" Gerald groaned. "Not you again."
xinoehp512 he/him Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 "My nemesis!" proclaimed the octopus. "I see you have followed me here!" "Actually-" began Gerald. "Well, your journey ends here!" proclaimed the cephalopodic android. He threw a metal ball at Gerald, which quickly expanded into a long tube. It wrapped around the squid, then tethered itself to the ceiling.
