"Yes I am!" Melody disappeared, but didn't go anywhere other than a couple of steps to the left for now.

“Melo—!” Ellis cut himself off. Here was no place to yell. He sent a glance at Q. “Come on. Let’s take out as many as these guys as we can before she gets killed.”

Ellis grabbed in the direction of Melody’s voice. “I know you can, but you aren’t going to.”

Melody hopped back. "But I don't want you guys to get hurt!"

“And you think that we want you to get hurt?”

"I won't get hurt, though. They can't see me."

“What if they don’t need sight to spot you?”

Q brandished her ivory and obsidian knives, the blades shimmering for a second. "Could you guys keep it down?" she hissed. "Not only is there people over there, but I need to concentrate for a second."

"Being useless is your own decision; having your memories lost was someone else's." A second of silence passed before black began to creep into her eye color. "Stop blaming yourself and do something about it," she said, her voice starting to come out distorted.
