Illusory Melody reached for the sword and grasped the handle, picking an illusion of the sword up. It actually stayed on the ground, but no one would be able to tell. Ellis raises an eyebrow. "You said you could do illusions, right? Where's the real you, Melody?" I figured he'd figure out that she was using illusions, but not how or where.

Illusory Melody stared at Ellis as if confused. "Ellis, this is the real me. Are you okay?"

It was somewhere... he could feel it. Perhaps somewhere near his-- There. Ellis pulled at the source, then snapped open his eyes. The illusion of Melody had vanished to his sight, and the real one stood just behind him. "There you are." He attacked. He didn't delete any illusions; he just made it so that he can temporarily see through them.

I guess you can't deceive the Dark Lord; probably because most Dark Lords tend to be exceptional at lying!" He continued attacking. "Try not to fall back to much, or you won't be able to see where you're going. You'll lose your footing, and falling over basically means you die."
