The glass starts to slip out of Crescendo's hand as she is bumped into, but she raises the friction on the sides and it stops. "Hi!" says Crescendo. "Sorry about that."

"Um, I'm pretty sure it's the Surge of Abrasion. Increasing and decreasing friction and all that?"

"Weird... here." Selia takes the bread and milk from her and sets them at the foot of the stairs, then hops up on the banister. "Can you do the opposite?"

[Condensation she/her]

"I think so. Are you sure?" Crescendo places her hand on the banister behind Selia.

[Negative_Null They/Them]

"No, but what's the worst that can happen?"

[Condensation she/her]

"All right, then." Crescendo concentrated as hard as she could on making the banister slick.

[Negative_Null They/Them]

Selia slid down the banister, much faster than she was expecting with a squeal of delight. She flew off the lower end and narrowly avoided hitting a wall, landing in a heap by the door. "See, I told you it was a good idea!"

[Condensation she/her]

Crescendo laughs. It's a low-pitched sound that rises in volume, and sounds rather pleasant. "Okay, now I want a turn!" She sits on the banister, keeping her hand on it, and slides down. "Woo hoo!"

[Negative_Null They/Them]

Selia scrambles out of the way as Crescendo slides down.

Aw shut up!  I just acted. I like it, and it will be a thing every so often. I'm not trying to be subtle.

I'm trying to figure out a way to get her to say the Second Ideal.

Leonie hears the laughing and peeks out her door, frowning at the people sliding down the banister. It looked like a lot of fun, but... there were people. Maybe she could try it later when no one was looking.

Crescendo looked back at Diminuendo, who was hovering near the top of the stairs, radiating disapproval. Then she saw Leonie peeking out of her room and waved her over. "Come on! Do you want to try?"

Sebarial watches the Radiants sliding down the banister with a slight smile on her face.

Leonie let out a small shriek, and pulled the door halway closed so that she could still peek out. "Uhm... uhh... hey, you're that nice girl from earlier."

At this time, Ros makes his way tot he bottom of the stairs, thoughtfully contemplating something, and not noticing anyone.

Ros looks up.

"Oh, hello la-, Crescendo. How is your morning?"

Ros says with a slight bow of his head.

"Wait! Stop there." Crescendo runs up the stairs and puts her hand on the banister. "Okay, go ahead and slide now."

"Oh, is it morning already? It's been pretty good. Want to join us?"
