I hid my post so the Census would be at the top. As the LR, I can do that while other people can't (Rule 605) You're welcome.

By the way, to be clear, I Approved Ilwei's Amendment to Rule 109 in the post that I hid.

010- The Withdrawal Act: Any existing House may choose to permanently Withdraw from the game. Withdrawal is defined by the intentional and permanent renouncement of all future presence and activity by a House. Withdrawn players may rejoin the game, but they are to be treated as new players forming a completely new House with no ties or connections to the Withdrawn House. A House shall declare their intent to withdraw by publicly announcing "I/We, House [House Name], declare that we permanently and irrevocably have chosen to Withdraw from the game, with full understanding that House [Name]'s Atium reserves shall be wiped, and any attempt at rejoining will be treated as forming a new House without any prior activity in the game." The moment the High Prelan publicly recognizes the Declaration of Withdrawal by posting "The Withdrawal of House [House Name] has been noted.", the Withdrawn House is no longer considered to exist.

I would like to ammend Rule 10, as a real Noble House would not need permission to withdraw from Luthadel.

507- The Act of Union: Players can join another house, adding their Atium totals and making it so if one wins, the other wins. if they want to split back into separate houses later, the Lord Ruler decides how much of their combined Atium each gets Atium is distributed evenly based on the amount of Players in each part (so if a 4 Player Union was split into 2 & 2, each half would get half, but if it was split into 1 & 3, the group with 3 players gets 3/4 of the atium and the lone player gets 1/4). Both players must agree to the House merger, and limits on Mistborn still apply to Houses, not individuals. Each House only gets one vote in the Senate and a player may not second a proposal that was proposed by a member of their house. Not all houses may be allied at once, as that would allow all players to achieve victory at once

I would also like to amend rule 507 in the above way

I call for judgement on Doomstick for double posting, in violation of rule 603:

Quote

603- The Anti-Double Posting Act: People may not double post. If you do double post it will result in a fee of 3 Atium. This does not apply to the High Prelan's census count if the census was the first post of a page

And I’m aware I shouldn’t post here but in my defense I was quoted

@Illwei, how would you like to combine houses? If not, I'm afraid that I will be forced to join House Wafre. (If they would allow me, that is. I'm pretty sure they would).

I'm afraid you're going to have to wait one more page, then try again.

I would like to propose the following act:

The Final Empire Act: On October 15th, US Central time. The Lord Ruler will add a poll to the thread that includes each house and TLR. Everyone votes unanimously for which house/LR they want to become the next Lord Ruler.  On October 17th, US Central time, the house that has the most votes becomes TLR. If TLR has the most votes, they remain TLR.

Something I think could get expanded Upon:

I Propose:

The Status Act: As there are two classes, there are two Statuses as Nobles. High Status and Lowly. Lowly Nobles are Fined at a 1.25 rate for fines and are rewarded only .75 of the full Atium awards for Things such as Proposals. All costs of things such as Mistborn are at 1.25 price as well.
One can move up from being a Lowly Noble to a High Status Noble by remaining infraction free (no fines) for one page. they must have at least 5 posts on said page, and have taken at least 2 relevant game actions in said posts.

The Black Market: The black market is a shop that High Status Nobles (All current Nobles, no) can use to purchase up to one (1) Extra Mistborn. This Mistborn will be at double the normal price. there are no Limits to how many times a House can purchase an Extra Mistborn, but with each purchase comes 20%, stackable chance of you getting caught. being caught results in you being reduced to a Lowly Noble and loss of 25% of your Atium

@Experience @Experience  @Experience!!! What if instead of being TLR they're the Mayor and like we progress into Era 2!!!

...or...Era 1.5....
...

!!!!

Wow okay this took me 20 minutes to write out and it's still not great.

Well yes, but I kind of want to be able to force you to be the Lord Ruler so you can't win... :P. Then I would only have to worry about the trio team.

What if there is something of a duel leadership. So there are two 'Lord Rulers' who each have the same power, or something... Now that I think about that I don't know if that would work...

Yeah. I know that there's a democratic style of nomic. Lord ruler makes more sense for this specific one, but. I- Idk. I keep having ideas that are too structured to be Nomic but too...not Mafia to be a SE game...

I mean, we have progressed to a...er...sort of Senate. Like they did. Except more elitist...thanks to me :P. now we just need to...go to Era 2... :P.

To be proposed for Era 2, or whatever the sequel will be, I propose:

The Rule of Ascension: At the end of the game, whoever is The Lord Ruler will have the choice to Ascend to Harmony for Era 2 if they wish. If they don't want to, then the person who has the most atium (otherwise known as the winner?) will Ascend to Harmony. The rules for this role will be decided in Era 2 (or whatever the sequel thread is).

that seems complicated. I mean, only because of how I'm thinking about it probably. but yeah. because technically Harmony doesn't get involved...
Technically

yeah.

I really see you out here trying to get me to forfeit the game and be elected the new LR if your first one gets passed *squinty eyes glare thing*... *narrows eyes suspiciously*

funny how you think the only way to beat me is to get me to TLR :smirk:

We could amend the rule not allowing everyone to win at once. Except that might be ... something.

Idea (not actual proposal yet)

the interesting rule: every house that votes yea on this rule gains twice as much atium as a house that did not vote yea when said house gains atium

(e.g. Houses A & B vote yea, House C votes Nay (or abstains) if one of House C's rules is passed,  Houses A & B each gain 32 atium and House C gains 16)

what do you think?
