ok i'ma try to take a break from shard for whatever amount of time or at least spend less time on it because i stormin hate it because it's distracting me from work and such and i just use it to make myself depressed and act like a ... person

anyway maybe i'll try to block it or something too and make it so i gotta enter a 128-digit passcode to unlock it or something idk

sayonaraaaaa

hopefully

or i could just turn off password autocomplete/saving and making my password long and log out after each use like i kinda do already

anyway i just wasted a few minutes typing this by bye.

but yeah pls dont worry about me because i might still look on shard as a guest even if i dont want to and then ill see something and

oh wait no that makes it sound like your fault

uh well basically uhm do whatever you want bye

Bye! We'll miss you!

Why are all the coolest people in Utah

I'm not exactly 'out' as aromantic, but I'm also not exactly closeted, because I don't really care if anyone knows. The only reason I don't tell people is that I don't think my particular brand of aromantic will be easily understood by non-queer people, and so it seems like a hassle to dispel a bunch of misconceptions they have.

Regardless, I will be telling my parents about it today, and I've created a clever ruse to inform them about aromanticism beforehand. You see, today is International Asexuality Day. I'm going to claim that I used today to learn more about asexuality, but then fell in a rabbit-hole researching aromanticism, and then dispel whatever misconceptions they have. Then, after that, I can be like "YOU FOOLS! THIS WAS ALL A RUSE! I WAS THE AROMANTIC I WAS TALKING ABOUT ALL ALONG!" or something like that.

...

This is like the slightly less unhinged version of one of @certifiedcranedriver's operations.

Sick

Good luck

Idk, Utah has some not great people who live there. I have family who lives there, and some are super religious and hate LGBTQ+ people.

Utah has... An interesting reputation lol. specifically it has associations with mormonism which many people have mixed opinions on. I won't get into it much here but yeah

That's not to say everyone in Utah sucks or anything in fact the opposite can be true

Judging an entire state and by extension everyone who comes from it in a superficial way is not beneficial to anyone

well associating it with mormanism isn't really a stretch

I would say considering that a whopping 62% of the state are part of the church vs the only 2% of the entire country is mormon makes it a reasonable assumption

idk guys I'm ex Mormon so I have some strong opinions on this but i'll do my best to keep them to myself so I don't hurt anyone

Hm ... someone recommended Alchemised to me, though I haven't yet read it and it might be dark. You might like the Murderbot Diaries, and possibly Redwall?
