By the power vested in me... you are  r e b o r n !

The base was a cave in the mountainside, its entrance concealed a little ways in. Fadran could spot the guards in the shadows: they were watching them, all right. He made it clear that he knew they were, making sure his weapons were in clear view.

"All of you stay here." Fadran said, gesturing for them to wait. He ran up to the cave entrance, starting to talk to the guards.

The guards, however, were already in the midst of a deep conversation.

”So,” one said, “is something god-beloved because deities love it or does it possess a characteristic that makes deities more prone to love it?”

Another guard glared at him. “I thought we’d been over this. Socrates’ inquiry holds no practical applications for us—what does it matter why a deity likes something? Our time would be far better spent debating Plato’s allegory of the cave!”

The first guard scoffed. “Really? You think we’re actually only experiencing and viewing a shadow of the real world, unaware of the truth? Yeah, right.”

It was then that they noticed Fadran. They quickly straightened their uniforms, pretending to have been paying attention the whole time.

“How might we be of assistance this fine day?” asked a guard who had been silent until then. He had a habit of using overly formal language and liked to keep his mouth shut whenever possible.

Kind of confused about what is occurring and not really able to invest in a wholly new RP right now (sorry), but I saw a status update requesting aid and decided to hop by. Hope you don’t have anything against philosophical NPC guards and please do take back full control of them. :D

I wasn’t sure if the guards were NPCs or if they were the people Fadran tagged… I know tFotT’s whole thing is that there doesn’t need to be context for the world but it might be nice if the situation was explained a bit more

Okay

So

Fadran and the crew JUST warped to this subplanet thing and are only just now coming up to this resistance base. The only person who's been here before is Fadran, and it's been several years since then. The leadership might know who he is, but probably not the guards.

That said, though, we can go off of anything and go through with anything, so I don't mind RPing from here.

I will be a...

Guard?

Going under the assumption that this is a planet from nowhere in particular and I can create whoever I want with whatever set of abilities I want, of course. Lemme think.

I shall be....

A Grisha criminal who has come here on a job to assasinate someone from the resistance (assuming they are NPC characters) in exchange for a lot of money.

Is that ok?

I always wanted to play in this but I was just very intimidated so thank you for summoning me for this.

As if me joining will cure that.

Anyways, can I get a brief rundown of what’s happening right now before I throw Yulong in?

"Aradarin. Born unto Wonder, And you've been excpecting me?"

"Well... I only just arrived." Fadran put on his signature grin. "I've got some companions and a little itch to go beat something up, so I was hoping we could hang out here and help out for awhile."

"Your plans may procede as intended, my Patron simply wished that I accompany and learn from you."

*Totally didn't think that you were a Resistance leader at first*

Fadran nodded. "Understood." He waved at the others. "Come on, guys! Let's get settled!"

Also if anyone wants to just randomly join the Fellowshippers instead of being part of the resistance that is also totally okay. Literally all the members are only there because they randomly teleported outta nowhere and Fadran was all "cool, welcome to the crew!"

Ok hold on. The resistance is the evil empire or it is resisting against the evil empire? Cause my character is coming to kill one of the people from the evil empire.

Character description

Name- Alisa Ivanov.

Pronouns- She/ Her

Height- 5'9

Age- 17

Profession- Criminal for hire

Nature- Grisha

Ver pale with black hair and blue eyes.

The person who has hired her holds a grudge with Elias Strucker- A member of the evil empire. And so, she's been hired to kill him.

Alisa saw a group of people entering the base. Great, the more the people, the harder this was going to be.

She'd teleported here a few days ago as she had caught wind of the fact that Elias Strucker knew about this base and was going to infiltrate it. He would soon kill the Resistance leader and make an example of it. He was hoping to get higher postion in the empire by doing this.

She had to kill him before that could happen.

The group of people she sees are you guys. I hope this is ok under the rules.
