The Fox found a smile dancing on her lips.

An uncharacteristic smirk forms on my lips. I watch Fox's exchange with Vapor silently.

"Where you from?" Vapor asks. "Is it normal to get stabbed for you?"

"Relatively no. It was very unexpected this time. I get stabbed or... shot, quite often when there are hounds on my trail, but nobody's ever successfully caught me before." That is unless this group was all an elaborate trap set up for her... "This time, however, I had no one of much significance close on my trail. I pulled off a few small jobs lately, and then this happened. I've only ever lost anywhere near to this much blood once, and that time my sister had to knock me out to keep me from stabbing our cab driver. For me, either I feel the pain, and am in complete control with some gained focus from the pain, or, I am completely out of control, with everything seeming confusing to me." Every step sends another streak of pain through the Fox's ankles, as if reminding her of the pain she learned to live with daily.

Aight, I'm going to bed, sorry folks!

I have now read all 21 pages. 144-165. I’m gonna finish working on my character and then post an intro! Might do it tonight so that y’all see it first thing tomorrow, but I doubt I’ll be done with the character that quick. Also, is there any specific reason Nath rps in first person and everyone else uses third person?

None other than that was what I decided on.

Yay!

I hope it doesn't sound like "oh please ask me about my tragic backstory" but he is really cool and if I tried doing the third person lore thing that Fox, Fadran, and Nath do it wouldn't sound very good.

Nah, I totally get being hyped to show off a cool new character! *asks about your tragic backstory* :P

Character thing (didn't wanna ctrl+c, ctrl+v)

Fadran's a Traveling Merchant, Channelknight, Highmaster Arcane Mage, Enclave Knight, and now a member of the Fellowship! I have more description of him in my About Me page

Worldbuilding thing (also didn't wanna ctrl+c, ctrl+v)

There isn't any specific worldbuilding going on throughout this RP.

"Not too badly. I'm more worried about you. Losing one of your oldest and closest friends can't be easy, yet you seem the same. So how have you been holding up should be the question."

"Me? I..." Fadran hesitates, "It's easy to put a picture on the surface and call everything alright. I'm not trying to hide anything, I just feel like Icona wouldn't appreciate it if I fell into my own self-pity. So I've kept going; kept a smile on my face." He smiles, then gives her a playful bump to the arm. "I've also had you guys to help me along."

Though she is good at hiding it I can tell that Fox is hiding pains both physical and emotional. That was me not so very long ago. Has it been centuries. She is a kindred spirit of sorts. I recognize the style of her clothes. Baalhan was most descriptive. If she is from that realm then she truly is capable of great things. Trust must be earned. It's time to see about trust. "Fox, we have a tendency to get into trouble. Currently, we are on the run from an unknown threat, you seem to prefer knives to other weapons, and we need all of the assistance that we can get. Therefore, I think that you should be armed appropriately." I descend into my own mind. Instantly I am in the heart of a vast vault piled high with fabulous treasures, tomes, and weapons. I reach out and an ancient jewel encrusted dagger with a similarly formed sheath flies into my hand. In a flash I ascend again dagger now in my hand. I hold it out to Fox. "Welcome to our group. Do try not to cut yourself with it. It has a rather nasty tendency to eat away at the souls of those that it cuts. I got it from a friend who got it from a deity of your realm by the name of Anubis."

Fadran eyes this exchange. "You have open access to an arsenal of soul-eating superweapons?"

Queen smiles, but feels that it can't be that easy. It was similar to what she had done after Journey's death, but it had taken her a much longer time to realize that Journey did it for her, he saved her so that she could go on. Even now, she felt almost guilty that she lived while Journey, always the stronger of the two, was gone. She didn't know how to voice this to Fadran, however, so she continued the casualty that he had begun.

"Yeah, that makes sense. So, do you think we'll be able to stop this Winter guy? And find Kindness's memories? All in one quest?"

I'm toying with the idea of a new character: A left-handed woman on Roshar. I don't know yet if she'll be forced to become right-handed or if she's unnoticeable enough to just wear a glove on her safehand. What do you guys think? I also don't know where I should put her. Should she join this group, another RP that I'm already in, or an RP that I haven't joined yet?

I turn to Fadran. "I have access to some weapons. That however is singular. There are no others like it that I know of."

"The two are kinda... connected. I'm not positive it'll work, but it's worth a shot." Fadran passes her a glance (does that make sense? I'm trying out new descriptive phrases for variety). "You thinking about something?"

All of a sudden, an otter jumped out of the nearest source of water, the glass that Fadran was holding. "Howdy y'all, whats going on? I'm to busy to look back in time at all of your past conversations and interactions."

"Hmm, nobody gave me a summary as I asked for, maybe I should try another language...

Est-ce que tu parles français?

Hablas español?

Sprichst du Deutsch?

An labhraíonn tú Gaeilge?

Do you speak English, or must I try a few more languages?"

(Just realized that this is my 100th post!)

"Finally, a response! That is what I am asking, yes."

"Well, uh..." Fadran begins, still confused, "our friend was devoured by the embodiment of winter, and we want to get her back so I threw together a plan that also incorporates returning the memory of another friend, but we're also currently being chased by something and want to escape it."

"That is quite the predicament, if you want some advice, then how about this. Don't get caught, it will be bad for your health. Returning the memory of a friend sounds interesting. I don't have much experience in that area, but I will do my best to help, I have a very unique skill set."

"A unique skill set? Do elaborate."
