"I'd be patient if I were you; waiting for a monarch comes with the territory of being an adventurer." Fadran cracks his knuckles. "If I were you, I wouldn't acquaint myself with this place quite yet; you're going to need things to entertain yourself with after awhile."

"Pretty much," said the yellow. "Try to stop him from taking whatever it is, if you can- but don't challenge him directly. Your new trinket won't protect you against him."

"You need to go now," said the blue abruptly. "We'll keep in contact."

With that, the vision dissolved.

"Not much longer," said Jaxevist, pointing outwards. "Look, there's the bridge."

And indeed, a familiar bright green bridge was extending outwards towards where the group was standing. It stretched out to the edge of the opening and stopped, ready for passage.

With a flash of black light, an orange holed appeared. "The King will see you now," she said simply. "Make your way down the bridge towards his royal hall."

"Onward!"  Kindness cries, having regained her cheerful demeanor.  "Also, Fadran, something is telling me I should pretend to have a Nahel bond.  I don't know why.  Do you want to help me with that?"

[Vapor she/her]

Vapor walks across the bridge, looking nervously at the holed around the group.

After a sheepish grin, he waves his hand dismissively. "Nah, I gotcha. Let's do this."

"'Unite you?'  Is that supposed to be some sort of threat?  And thanks."  Kindness shrinks to about as tall as a hand is long and flies up to perch on Fadran's shoulder.  "Being a Radiant is pretty easy, just be yourself."

As the party walks into the royal hall, a door bangs open to the side and a blue holed rushes out, holding a tray covered in food. "Out of the way, the king has ordered snacks!"

Vapor blinks. "I hadn't pictured him as a snacks kinda guy..."

"What kind of snacks do kings eat?"  Kindness wonders aloud.

He stops and turns around. "To be honest, neither did I. Things around here are never quite what you'd expect." He trails off. "As to you, strange glowing person, it depends on whether his guests are being welcomed, imprisoned, tortured, or well... executed"

"Do you know which is going to happen?"

Spin looked confused. "'My spren' is just a description of me."

"Oh. My mistake, Spren Spin"

"You're fine. You should hurry to the king, you don't want him mad."

"Oh agreed most heartily. Farewell, and try not to get killed, please." He bows again and scurries off

[Spren of Kindness she/her]

"Um, are any of you worried about the 'try not to get killed' thing?:  Kindness asks the group.  "Because that sounds a bit concerning."

"Me!" Vapor said.
