Guest Ψιτιsτηε Βεsτ Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 If anyone saw the video that played shortly after the conference ended, they will know what I am taking about. It is called In a coming Day, and it one of my favorite ones. If you didn’t see it, look it up on library app.
shortcake thr/eat ka/boom Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 am i the only one who found that last talk really relatable (and funny)

Weaver of Shadows he/him Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 I loved that third talk! It felt directed to me personally.

Daines gave that talk. I think it was the third talk that session
Eran of Arcadia Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Alright show of hands - and be honest - how many of us are going to be reading SP4 tomorrow during Conference? 1

The Isochronism he/him Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 I missed Saturday Evening session for work... any highlights, or talks I should listen to soon? It might be a bit until I have time to listen to the whole session.
Edema Rue she/her Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Yeah, it was kind of all amazing, though I especially loved that last talk. 2
Chinkoln he/him Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 My official guess: 17 temples 1 in Brazil 1 in Panama 2 in the Caribbean 1 in Canada 2 in Utah 3 in Pacific Islands 1 in Florida 1 in South Africa 2 somewhere else in Africa 1 in Southeast Asia 1 in Illinois 1 in Europe
Edema Rue she/her Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 2 in Utah xD we already have like 16... Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if we got 2 more.
Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Utah always gets more temples- It's inevitable... Wait... inevitable...

Wait... inevitable... lol you're not wrong is the problem. Ok but the thing is, where I live, I have like 4 different temples that are 30 minutes from my house. But a lot of Utah is deep in the mountains, and they still have to drive 2 or 3 hours to get to one.

It's just funny that they're announced at least once a year.
The Paradoxical Phenomenon he/him Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Speaking of temples, the new Charlotte one is exciting for me! My ward will probably be assigned to that one when it’s completed. I might be on my mission though, I don’t know how long it’ll take. 1
Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 I hope we get some in the Middle East and Asia. 1
InfiniteInsanity she/her Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 When any of y'all were younger did you build forts or tents to watch general conference in? Because then you could pretend like you were the Nephites going to listen to King Mosiah? Or is that just a thing that my family did and still does for my younger siblings? 1

Yeah I think I remember doing that with my family though eventually it just became that it was fun to have a fort Edited October 1, 2023 by The Wandering Wizard

It's more than 16 I'm sure. I'm also mostly convinced that there won't be any temples in Utah. I'm kind of thinking that we might get one closer to me though. My stake got in trouble with the temple presidency(not really trouble, but they told us to back off a little with our wards) because we take too many youth temple trips. Not sure if overall there are enough members around though.
