Shoe Size Spoiler Is this how you do it? Edited March 26 by TwinSouls
Gak
each size shoe grants a different power to its wearer, but while the shoe has to be worn correctly, it doesn't have to fit well, so people with small feet can access more powers than those with large foot. the smaller the shoe the more powerful, for example massive clown shoes just let you make rainbow bubbles, while baby shoes can let their wearer generate a near impenetrable shield. as a result of small shoes being more powerful people generally use young children as their apprentices to fight their battles for them, leading to the totally original series the shoe shop wars, by Brennen Mole. the patterns on socks Spoiler more or less, the main rule is have fun, followed by be creative and on occasion downright bizarre.

Lego Mistborn
Cheeseplate, already nigh impossible to cut with a blade, now releases noxious fumes when cut, which the wearer is immune to, but none else. Don't cut the cheese. Pinecone
Gak
The less pinecones there are in the world the faster they grow when planted, leading to overharvesting and destruction of pine trees around the world. people use what cones there are as weapons, growing a entire pine tree in seconds, breaking through concrete walls, lifting a speeding car, or draining all the nutrients from the soil, all of these are things that can be done. TheFrugalWizard
Rainstorms come at the exact same time every five days. The people of the land worship the rain because on every fiftyth (is that how you spell it?) day, the rains heal whoever is out in them. Healing rain can't be stored. As soon as it hits the ground or any other surface it looses its healing properties. Beyond that, rain is always pure, so you can take a shower in it if you want. NerdyAarakocra
Lego® sets grant powers based on their complexity. Basic Duplo® sets barely restore any magical powers to their builder, while epic 50lb cities can give their builders the power to move mountains (the amount of power required to do something is relative to the amount of force required times the task's complexity). This also works for other crafty build kits, like ships in bottles. As such, the Lego® Group and other build kit people have control over all magic. A lone group of rebels, however, has started building their own craft sets. As tensions escalate, the two sides inch closer to war... Aetherbound
When someone uses a completely over the top reaction image, the thing they were reacting to retroactively becomes more worth that reaction. Four things influence how much the reactee is changed. 1: how disproportionate the reaction is, as it takes the average of what actually happened and what would justify that as a reaction. 2: how funny it is in context, this makes the magic more "solid," a non-funny reaction will only create a semitransparent illusion, while a hilarious reaction could level a small building. 3: how people perceive your reaction image, when people stop caring about your reaction image, the world changes back to how it was, if you turned a wall into cheese, it turns back into wall (though if you cut a hole in said wall, the hole would remain). 4: sub-reactions, from other people reacting to your reaction, which can empower or modify your image.
