Try your hand at the creepy and eloquent. Make your own death rattles and post them.

Here is my go.

"A man sits, fearing the past. Failing to act, he allows the past to repeat itself."

-Collected circa Tanat 1173. Subject was a lighteyed carpenter.

"I feel the burning poison flow through my body, moved by my heart and the life it brings. It cannot be stopped, not now, not ever"

-Observed Ishi 1172. Subject was a young darkeyed boy found lying in an alley.

-Collected on Jesachev, 1170, from a blind darkeyes, 87 years of age. Death was natural, not induced, and the rattle appears no different than the others.

This is a reference to Dalinar. Should I spoiler it?

“Don’t you see the laughing girl, as she dances through the wind with her partner? He does not laugh.” - collected on the 2nd of Ishi 1172, fourteen seconds pre-death. Subject was a young lighteyed boy. 

“I fear for the seer most, of them all. The glass breaks around him and he cannot escape it.” - collected on the 3rd of Ishi 1172, twenty-two seconds pre-death. Subject was a darkeyed mother. 

“The Thorn in his side will fall, and the Brightest One will win.” - collected on the 4th of Ishi 1172, five minutes pre-death. Subject was a lighteyed Azish woman. Sample is of particular note. (Message from a Silent Gatherer, scribbled on a paper along with the record containing this Death Rattle and given to a courier: Bring to Adrotagia immediately. Possible significance in relation to the Diagram.

I'd totally forgotten about this thread but I'm loving it!

"He does not know why he fights, and yet still he does, and will until...oh Stormfather, he will forever; he will never fall." - collected on the 10th of Tanat 1171, fourteen seconds pre-death. Subject was a lighteyed blacksmith's son.
