He's easily becoming one of my favorite Disney Star Wars villains, with pretty his only competition being Krennic in my humble opinion. That is, of the villains that didn't "exist" before Disney came in and took over it all.

How do you feel about Second Sister?

Facepalm.

How on earth did I forget her?! She's great and I simply forgot to put her down since it's been a hot second since I've played Fallen Order.

Episode 14 spoiler:

Spoiler

This was awesome. That stick weapon Boba has was stormin brutal. And I'm glad Fennec (and apparently Mayfeld) are back. Both were too great to be one-offs. Just bring back Cobb too and I will be a happy toaster. Anyhow, I love how they do the storytelling. They have a few directly story-centric episodes, and then a bunch of filler-esque episodes that much later turns out to be important for the main plot in very unexpected ways. It is a really fresh and interesting kind of writing, and it also shows that Favreau and Filoni have a plan, the lack of which was the single great flaw of the sequel trilogy. Outlining is good. Anyway, incredibly hyped for next weeks prison break (I guess) and still hoping to see Sabine and/or Thrawn before the season ends.

Well, those Dark Troopers are really creepy.  The design, that is.

I'm glad Fennic (I think that's her name?) is back, I thought she was really cool in Season One.

The fact that we don't know what Grogu saw in the Force Perpendicularity (that'll be sticking, at least for me), is definitely coming back.  My vote's on Ezra.  After the Thrawn mention last episode, my hope that Ezra's out there somewhere is stronger than ever.

And Moff Gideon is a fantastic villain.  There's just something about him that makes the perfect combination of charisma and cruelty that makes me very scared of him.

Boba was looking a little chunky in that suit of armor

Spoiler

Too true.

I LOVED THIS EPISODE! Dark troopers are awesome, Boba Fett is as well, and we get more evil Guardians of the Galaxy! AND DARK SABER!!! SO COOL!!! I just want Thrawn to be the actual villain, and actually be in charge of Gideon (I think that would be cool). Also, am I the only person who thinks Gideon's armor is Beskar?

I bet it is, that seems like a Gideon thing.

This was probably one of my favorite episodes so far. Boba was awesome. Grogu is going to some dark places, throwing those storm troopers around.
Also, the dark troopers maybe the first actually threatening stormtroopers we’ve seen. Though I still can’t get the thought out of my head that they look like Bionicles.

Purge Troopers are pretty scary, at least if you, like me, sucked at Fallen Order. And Death Troopers were at least supposed to be scary, but I dont remember them doing a whole lot more than dying.

Unfortunately I never played Fallen Order. :P

Ah, I see. Well, they were quite scary unless you had a ledge or something to force push them down from.

The doge-until-I-position-you-so-I-can-yeet-you-off-the-ledge strat I see you too had top tier Fallen Order skills :P

Loving season 2 so far, but as of today, I'm having an existential crisis thanks to a sudden realization. Mandalorians believe the strong should rule, but Radiants believe that strength "does not make you capable of rule, it makes you capable of service." (At least, as explained by Teft.)

Does this mean I can't be both a Mando and an Edgedancer? Pls help :'(

Both can be possible! The Way of King’s (in-universe) message was that a king should be a servant to his people. He still rules, but does not refrain from doing all he can to help and acting as a lower class citizen would in order to do so.

You know, the scene where the Death Troopers are dropped onto the Beaches of Scarif is criminally underrated. Why do I say this? Because they dropped off less than one squad of Death Troopers, who then proceeded to completely annihilate all of the rebels there until they were down to our two main characters. Literally all of the other Rebels were killed by the Death Troopers. Then we see that when everyone but Chirrut goes for the master switch, they get taken out instantly. What we need is some sort of Trooper to win against a main character, because so long as they don't we'll have the thought stuck in our head that they're no threat. Tiny rant over.

Loved this episode! Last week’s was an adrenaline rush but didn’t sit too well with me afterwards. I was very glad to have some more character building and development in both Din and Mayfeld, and I thought the action, world building, and character beats were very well balanced. Shoutout to Rick Famuyiwa for directing a fantastic episode!

I’m also loving the amount of connectivity coming with Dave Filoni bringing in the greater Star Wars universe. Operation Cinder was referenced which is huge, and for those who watched the Bad Batch trailer revealed yesterday, will Fennec Shand’s appearance in that show give backstory to her line in this episode saying that she was wanted by the Empire? For the first time in a while I have a lot of hope with where Star Wars is going, and I can’t wait to watch it expand.

Good episode, amazing script.

Spoiler

This episode made up for the last one's lacking in the area of the script. Lots of character development all around and placed the focus back onto Mando. Although I must say that I've found myself loving Mayfield more now. Really well done, although it did seem to lack in the area of action, but nonetheless, it's still one of my favorites.

That was good!  I really liked how we got to see the Empire backing up it's people, and also how the believer (didn't catch his name) was written.  That was good.

Also, Din taking his helmet off with no hesitation in order to do what it takes to get Grogu back warms my heart.

So, I really liked this newest episode. I think this one had a good mix of action and character development. Also, I really like mayfield now. His philosophy reminded me of vasher. I think this was my favorite episode so far.

Mayfeld is Top 5 characters in the show after this last episode.

Testify my friend, testify. It's amazing what some characterization can do.
