I hope he had most of the rest of the book how he wanted it the first time around too :D

"Just finished the traditional Wit monologue for the ending of Stormlight Four. (I'd saved writing it until the 2.0 draft.) After several weeks of revision, this marks the finished second draft of the book! (I will do five drafts before I turn it in, finished, sometime around July 1st. Usually, the second draft is the quickest of the five.)"

after the slow crawl of the first draft (yes, i know, brandon was keeping a good pace; it's just that 4000 words on a big book is still only 1% progress), it's refreshing to see the further drafts moving at a steady pace

They have finished part one. From Alice Arneson:

"Both part 1 and part 2 were delayed more than anticipated, so we’ll probably have less than 2 weeks per part from here on out."
