The child who had been drawing Aons also came over, sitting down next to the dog and hugging it, starting to cry into its fur. He'd been terrified.

Gamma 7 felt conflicted, one of the small humans had grabbed his fur and then started leaking fluid onto him. Usually humans tended to die when they were leaking fluids, but this didn't seem to be red, and it wasn't in a large quantity. It was probably okay wasn't it? But they'd also promised to protect these small humans, so should he report this to someone?

His tongue lolled out of his mouth and he licked the side of the small humans face, hoping it wouldn't alarm him. It definitely didn't taste like the blood that he was used to tasting from humans. The other little humans nearby didn't seem worried about the liquid coming from this one's eyes either.

Satisfied that there was no immediate danger, Gamma 7 rested his head on the little humans shoulder. Keeping a watch for any enemies that tried to ambush him.

The boy sniffed, hugging the Seekrador and staying quieter, calling a little at the lick. He stopped crying at least. He gently scratched behind the dog's ears, wishing he knew where the puppy was from. He wanted to be there, if this kind of thing was from there.

“That can be arranged.” Erlend says, as the the guards put handcuffs on the Jackal. “Take him to a cell until we’re ready, I want no less than 3 men on guard at a time, and no one is to hurt him.” Then he turns and walks out.

Walker cam in and said, "You know three men will do absolutely nothing to him? His staff could kill them in an instant. I'll keep guard on him. I would also request that he only ets a reducd sentence. Like, instead of the death penalty, life in prison."

"I won't try to escape. I am to high profile in this predicament, so if I did, I would have every grat guild down on me," Jackal said.

"Also, keep him away from shadows," Walker continued, ignoring him, "Go on, get. Bring him to Doomhorn the Wise as soon as possible."

“Watch him if you want, but he’s not leaving until I say so.” Erlend says, “and I will decide what his sentence is, though your opinion has been taken into consideration”

Melody sends a quick text to walker “hey, where’d you go? I though we where going to dinner.”

Walker responded to the text with, 'Sorry, the Church of the White Rose captured the Jackal. I'll be there as soon as possible.'

"You can petioton for a reduced sentence, but you cannot remove the sentence that he committed outside of your church," He said to Erlend.

Dwig stuck his head into the cell block,

"Hey, are you guys having a party down here? Dunegon party, cool."

he walked into the block with his helmet under his arm, smiling happily.

Erlend ignores the man in armor, “no, I cannot, but while he is here he is in my custody. I’ll gladly transfer him to you after he is finished with his sentence here.”

Walker ignored him as well, though Jackal prepared to to get out of the way if Dwig tried to kill him.

"If you want him to testify in front of the senate, then you have to bring him, to the senate," Walker said.

Gamma 5 padded softly into the room, she briefly examined each of its inhabitants with heavily lidded eyes before moving over to a corner and curling up. She kept one eye open and watching the room in case she needed to respond, but it had been a long day. Three could keep watch from outside anyway.

I need to take some leave soon.

She let out a large yawn, her jaw opened wide and revealed that several of her teeth seemed to have been replaced with metallic spikes.

Hopefully everything stays calm until the next shift. But then, humans are really dumb sometimes.

She rested her head on her front paw, still lazily watching the gathered group but not showing any threat to them.

"Anyway, what happened to that Waiter guy? Is he dead or what?"

“I am aware, though at the moment I have bigger problems.” Erlend says, “I’ll be glad to hand him over to you after he provides his testimony.”

“Alright, sure you don’t need help?” came the reply after a second.

"As long as I don't have GB and you after me, as I am clearing GB's name, I don't care who you hand me over to, as long as the mask doesn't come off," Jackal said, "Though I would like you to bring me before the senate, before those idiots start a guild war. War is negative to my business investments,"

Walker texted back, 'Beyond dealing with Jackals smooth talking, and Erlends pointless stalling, I'm fine. I'll be a bit late to dinner though'

“I’ll decide that later,” he says, “but now I think I’ve put off my duties long enough.” And with that Erlend leaves. A moment later the soul stamp disengages and the complex returns to normal.

“My duties are the dead and their families.” Erlend responds.

Shae shook his head. "It either is forcibly deactivated by the high priest, or it turns back once it wears off. One of the two just happened." He gestured around then at the familiar church. "Come on, I have a painting to make for you." He took Dan's hand, turning to the marine. "Thank you, soldier, for your help. I hope I see you again some day- stop here if you ever need a place to rest. I'll find room for you." He nodded smiling before leading Dan off. He didn't want to think about the dead.
