MacThorstenson he/him Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 (edited) I'm the one uncle who makes a ton of money, but no one knows what I do. They think its something in finance, but they really aren't sure. Edited January 7, 2019 by MacThorstenson

They know I was involved with a court case or two. But they are pretty sure what I'm doing is legal. EDIT: All they know is that I work for grandpa's old company. AonEne he/him Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 There's also a sister, @Tesh, but she moved out as soon as possible and never looked back. She sends Christmas cards, but no one ever sees her unless they're on vacation to where she went.

You're the son who works really hard to maintain his father's company while the other two left and started their own companies which aren't as big and have to pay tribute to the father's company. (There are also a ton of small businesses around, but nobody cares about them)

With me, archer, tess, lopen, nohadon, kidpen, Reppad. Rd, and all those guys who were on before the Rules of warfare thread making up the second gen. Then we come to the next gen which I think would be those who joined during Era 1. Finally, the newest generation would be those who joined during Era 2.
old man moomba he/him Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Nice how you capitalized no ones name there, Mac. And please, call me Dapper.
+Ark1002 Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 I would personally dispute Dapper being in second gen. He was around back then, but only really did the store, then went completely inactive.
Gancho Libre he/him Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 I think I'd be second gen... I remember the Rules of Warfare thread coming out...
kenod Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 I'm guessing I'm 2nd gen as well in that case, given that I first signed up for the DA before the GB even existed, although I wasn't really that active within the guild part of the fora back then.

That makes us cousins! Hows it goin', cuz?
Gancho Libre he/him Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 I see. Might I suggest, as your fellow cuz, a good remedy for sleepiness?
kenod Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 In my case, it's just going to bed earlier. Given that it's currently 19:45 here, being sleepy is a bit bad. I think it's mostly trying to readjust from Christmas.
Gancho Libre he/him Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 I was going to suggest banging yo face against spike wall, but going to bed earlier sounds good too. Dang, I shoulda thought of that.
kenod Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Doesn't bleeding out make you feel even more sleepy? Well, I guess it would help you with staying awake until that point though. I guess it also depends on how long the spikes are.
kenod Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 I generally go at around 23:00, but falling asleep takes a while for me, so I usually fall asleep around 0:30.
old man moomba he/him Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 As I said, I'm the guy who almost never came to family functions before, but does now. I disappeared for a while, then came back.
Sherlock Holmes he/him Posted January 7, 2019 Author Posted January 7, 2019 It occurred to me, today, that I’m also the guy with the impenetrable taste buds. You guys wouldn’t believe how sour actual lemons are. 1
kenod Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 (edited) I think I've had lemons before, though I didn't eat them, just drank the juice. On that note, see if any stores near where you live have sambal, and try eating that. Edit: Given that you probably won't have sambal in the states, it's an Indonesian sauce made from crushed peppers. We happen to have where I live as well, given that we have a lot of people from Indonesia living here. It's generally used to make dishes more spicy. I normally get mine from stores specializing in Asian ingredients, given that the ones they sell are much more spicy than the ones you find in grocery stores. Edited January 7, 2019 by kenod
