Edema Rue she/her Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 That was probably the most confusing way possible to answer that, but oki doki. *tries to think of a question to ask* *fails*

Edema Rue she/her Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 Oh okay. Slightly related question, does anyone know how to function through a book hangover?
Telrao she/her Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 You don't. You sit there and dozily dream about the book's events and characters, lingering in the pure ecstasy of a good book. If anyone approaches you, mumble something about books, and you'll survive. Maybe. Probably.
Immortal Platypus Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 Please give her better advice. Now she's going to try to talk to me about it and I haven't read the book yet.

Immortal Platypus Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 I think it's TLM, unless she's talking about a different book now. She's already started her rant.
Edema Rue she/her Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 (edited) It's TLM. It would be fine (for me to "sit there and dozily dream about the book") except that I missed a week of school and haven't done any of the work yet so I keep getting yelled at. Actually I wasn't talking to him about it, I was just complaining about having too much to do. I would never spoil a book. Edited November 19, 2022 by AesSedai318
Alvron Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 I first saw this riddle when I was 11 so I'm not going to spoil the fun for anyone but here's a couple of questions to hopefully help out. Is the man wearing anything that one wouldn't normally wear to a forest? Are there any tracks leading to or from the body? Is there anything unusual about the surrounding forest?
Immortal Platypus Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 Don't answer those or put them in spoiler tags that say that they are the answers to those questions so I don't have to see the answers. I'm figuring this out.
Edema Rue she/her Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 No please answer them! We need to know this! It’s not cheating it’s being resourceful!

Immortal Platypus Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 (edited) Thank you! 2 hours ago, AesSedai318 said: We need to know this! It’s not cheating it’s being resourceful! We don't need to know and I know it's technically not cheating, but I'm figuring this out without those clues. You said the murderer was human right? so no snakebite or something like that? Immortal Platypus Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 ok, thanks. also thanks for being patient with us non-riddle experts (or at least me)
Immortal Platypus Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 (edited) Was it murder? (what i'm basically asking is "Was it murder or manslaughter?") Oops, I forgot to edit it into the other post. Sorry mods/admins!! Edited November 19, 2022 by ImportantQuestions
The Wandering Wizard he/him Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 (edited) There really isn't such a thing as a riddle expert. And this is a hard riddle as I gave you basically only the statement that a man is lying dead in a forest. And you've come far with that, and this is an infuriating riddle. 1 minute ago, ImportantQuestions said: Was it murder? (what i'm basically asking is "Was it murder or manslaughter?") It was not intentional Edited November 19, 2022 by The Wandering Wizard
Immortal Platypus Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 ok, manslaughter it is. did the murderer use a traditional weapon (ex: gun, sword)? Did he use an old weapon (ex: cannon, catapult)? Was the murderer male. (Remember, it matters to me.)

Immortal Platypus Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 are his legs damaged? is his torso damaged? are his arms damaged? is his head damaged? Are there trees in the forest? is there grass under him? Is there blood anywhere?

Immortal Platypus Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 (edited) Is the damage a puncture wound? Is the damage a slashing wound? Is there grass anywhere in the forest?
