That was probably the most confusing way possible to answer that, but oki doki.
*tries to think of a question to ask*

Oh okay.

Slightly related question, does anyone know how to function through a book hangover?

You don't. You sit there and dozily dream about the book's events and characters, lingering in the pure ecstasy of a good book. If anyone approaches you, mumble something about books, and you'll survive. Maybe. Probably.

Please give her better advice. Now she's going to try to talk to me about it and I haven't read the book yet.

What book is this? I wanna know

It's TLM. It would be fine (for me to "sit there and dozily dream about the book") except that I missed a week of school and haven't done any of the work yet  so I keep getting yelled at.

Actually I wasn't talking to him about it, I was just complaining about having too much to do. I would never spoil a book.

I first saw this riddle when I was 11 so I'm not going to spoil the fun for anyone but here's a couple of questions to hopefully help out.

Is the man wearing anything that one wouldn't normally wear to a forest?
Are there any tracks leading to or from the body?
Is there anything unusual about the surrounding forest?

We need to know this! It’s not cheating it’s being resourceful!

We don't need to know and I know it's technically not cheating, but I'm figuring this out without those clues.

You said the murderer was human right? so no snakebite or something like that?

Was it murder? (what i'm basically asking is "Was it murder or manslaughter?")

Oops, I forgot to edit it into the other post. Sorry mods/admins!!

There really isn't such a thing as a riddle expert. And this is a hard riddle as I gave you basically only the statement that a man is lying dead in a forest. And you've come far with that, and this is an infuriating riddle.

It was not intentional

ok, manslaughter it is. did the murderer use a traditional weapon (ex: gun, sword)? Did he use an old weapon (ex: cannon, catapult)?

No, no

Was the murderer male. (Remember, it matters to me.)

Sure, we'll go with yes.

Are there rocks in the forest?
