Yeah, those got taken out a few years ago, and weren't actually really used, except in a few cases. We did/do have negative ranks though, but you can't reach them anymore. There are still some ancient accounts of trolls floating around the shard though which managed to get really low with their rep.

None that managed to achieve the awe-inspiring rank of 'Rotting Chasmfiend Corpse' though. Only one has achieved that honour.

It's OK, it happens in headphones, also they're good, don't worry.

I used to read everything in Braille. I'm reading Stormlight in Braille again in anticipation of book 4 and I forgot how much I'd missed actually reading. Now that I have something that I can connect to the computer for that, I might start again.

It's a fairly monotone voice, sadly. I got used to it eventually, trying to fill in the gaps with my imagination.

We love it when we get new members, worry not! 

You could have them be in the Alleycity Thread. There have been a few new characters recently, you might be able to get together and talk. (*guiltily looks at Salad*) Or you could have them walk into a guild thread if you want to join one.

There's a tavern and general city thread, both were recommended to me as spots to appear in. Mine doesn't have guild ideas though so I didn't ask about that. Poor thing knows next to nothing about the place they've just found themselves in.

The Alleyverse doesn’t have any pandemics going on at the moment, so that guild might have a tough time if you started it  I also don’t have any free characters.

The main plot is in this thread, basically, a cave system has been found under the city and some people are exploring it, then they found atium. It's probably too late to join it but I would advise you to follow it because in the last pages  @Fatebreaker has been preparing things for the next era.

As @mathiau already mentioned this era's plot is basically over. @Fatebreaker and @Voidus want to finish a few interactions, and then we can start discussion about the next era. Regarding a timeline: I can't tell you, when everything is ready, irl a lot of things are pretty crazy right now.

So if you want to start right now, please do it, we always announce a new era starting in the chat thread first and give everybody time to wrap things up. If you have an idea for a small plot, you can always start a new thread, although in the past it was usually better to pitch the idea here first and see who is interested to write it with you. But both ways work fine. Or you start with some fluff, and have your character meet someone else's in a tavern, get into writing them.

I think the conversation Nnimm is in at the moment is probably flexible and then I'm just going to have them wander over to the Scholar's Guild. That won't take long if everyone's still around over there, like a couple days, but they're not involved in anything yet so I'm just kind of winging it. I don't know what's coming up, is there anywhere to read about it or is the buildup spread through the recent threads?
