Good day to you all! We over at the Fantasy World Planning Thread have been hard at work, and we're about ready to open up the world (called Jörð) to anyone who wants to come and join in the fun! There is a master-planning Google Doc linked in the OP of the thread, and we invite you to read it over and create a character of your own. Please don't hesitate to ask questions! We are all really excited to get this started and create an awesome story together!

And yeah! We got a point system, to make sure things aren't too OP, but it's still pretty extensive.

I was thing of a man with unique powers that basically block any attack, but only if he focuses. To counterweight this I have made part of his mindset that he refuses to directly or indirectly kill anyone. He also has armor made from _________.

Actually, he got a boon from nightwatcher similar to Lift's, so gets invetiture from eating, also the shield he has is aluminum, the armor is made of some kind of cloth (is from an epic)

So in the Bloodflame gang thread, some characters have discussed and finalised the plan for a bomb set at the government building. Spoiled below are the posts discussing this:

So @Ark1002, as acting leader of the keepers you might want to move an NPC to be keeper representative for a while.

So, I was hoping to start a guild, but I first wanted to gauge interest in my idea. My character is a scholar and historian, so I figured that I could start a Scholar's Guild. It would be, as a guild, entirely non-combative. Our main mission would be compiling information on the Alleyverse, and attempting to uncover the nature of the universe. We'd focus on creating libraries and providing people with education, as well as asking questions for ourselves. I feel that this would be a good place for people who want to role-play, but don't particularly want to get involved in too many battles. Political conflict and debate, however, is welcome, which should keep things interesting. Does this seem like an interesting idea? Does something like this already exist? As a new member of the Alleyverse, should I join a Guild before trying to make one?

Well there is the Lierbrarians witch is the Alcatraz vs. guild, there are a mostly neutral guild that took it upon their selves to manage and moderate all of the libraries in the Alleyverse as well as disprove the lies of the "unholy books". Its run by last time I checked by Kidpen unless that has changed at some point. Its mostly the same but I'm not sure if their goals are as altruistic though and they would probably with me.

YES, THIS IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA

*composes himself* Ahem. Excuse me.

You know, I’m somewhat of a scholar myself. (See Alleyverse Wiki in my sig, my previous character Alum, etc.) So I would be very interested in joining a guild based around this.

As per the Liebrarian guild - it’s not a guild that is active (I don’t believe it’s repped at all currently), and it was never really a guild of scholarship. A guild of scholars, certainly - so is Dark Alley! - but not one based around scholarship. Certainly not a neutral force in the Alleyverse, either. Nothing like this really exists at the moment, then.

As for being ‘new’ and not in a guild - it should not preclude you from starting a guild, nor leading it, if there is sufficient interest for it to exist. I await with baited breath to see if this is the case.
