Orlok Tsubodai Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Action submissions this cycle have been disappointingly low, and as such, Wilson and I have decided to extend the cycle by 24 hours to give time for a greater number of action submissions. In future turns, there will be an incentive to submit actions in the first 36 hours of a cycle.
Magenta Albatross Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 “Something seems to be wrong with the timespren. It’s almost as if we were in an alternate timeline of these events, and nothing is happening like it is supposed to. But of course, such an idea is preposterous. Who’s messing with the fabrial now, then? The chulls are all gone, at least literally speaking.”
Charcoal Hyena Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 But aren’t we all chull in the eyes of the Almighty?
Charcoal Hyena Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 “Ouch that burns, Jasnah. One would think you were Wit with that kind of mouth.”
Fuchsia Ostrich Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 "Oh Meridas. You know I wasn't referring to you. That would be too much of a compliment for you." Jasnah said, then, uncharacteristically, let out a small laugh, and smile, to show she was kidding.
Charcoal Hyena Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 “Of course Jasnah,” Meridas says awkardly. He realized that he had not scene the joke. “Tell me Jasnah, have you ever heard of such things as a Black Sphere?”
Amber Vulture Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 "Please, let us not discuss such things in Public. Many of the lost lives link back to that cursed object."
Magenta Albatross Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 “Well, the eyes of the Almighty are less clouded than human eyes. But I would agree that some of us certainly are chull in the eyes of the Almighty,” Aesudan observed.
Charcoal Hyena Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 “Of course my King.” Meridas replied.”Aeusudan, what do you think of your husband’s sphere trading idea?”
Magenta Albatross Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 “I am generally supportive of it. It fosters cooperation, and potentially profits the Kholin family. So far however it does not entirely seem as if it has seen much use... Hm. That is food for thought.”

Thaidakar was killed. None of us seem to know much about that. I was attacked, but protected. We're not sure exactly why but a few different reasons have been suggested to me through PM. Ialai accidentally killed Torol, due to a redirect. Then we've pretty much caught up to this cycle, where we ostracized a foreign diplomat, someone killed Renarin, and someone killed Restares. “Ren-arin!? RENARIN! NO!!!” Dalinar bellowed, leaping to his feet. He charged forward, throwing a table aside that was in the way. The handful of Lighteyes still gathered around Renarin’s fallen form scattered, none of them wanted to risk Dalinar’s rage and they certainly didn’t want to offer help to one of their rivals in his time of grief. No, it wouldn’t be Alethi. Dalinar fell to his knees and cradled Renarin in his lap, and sobbed. They had killed him, while Dalinar slept in a drunken stupor. They had killed his son- one of the two he still had left from... her. Surely he had loved her, hadn’t he? Desperately, he cast his eyes about, looking for Adolin. EDIT: I find myself at a loss as to what to do with my action this cycle. Does anyone need any assistance with an action? Hit me up in a PM if so. Edited October 3, 2018 by SE_Dalinar_Kholin
Oxblood Beagle Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Ash hurriedly stuffed the fabrial in her pocket in the confusion, accidently turning it on in the proccess. She started heading over to one of the outer walls, away from prying eyes.
Magenta Albatross Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 (edited) “Please report all instances of temporal distortion to your nearest Alethkar authority. Thank you.” Aesudan wandered off looking for the fabrial responsible for all of this. It would be an incredibly interesting research find. Edited October 3, 2018 by SE_Aesudan_Kholin
Orlok Tsubodai Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 This cycle is now over. Please bear with me on rollover.

Mauve Crocodile Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Adolin sighed as he wept, pacing through the halls of the palace. He checked the time fabrial Aunt Navani had given him. Had it really only been six hours? The initial revelry, the plotting, the turning of opinion against him, and his triumphant return, to be greeted only by murder? Especially the murder of...Renarin. Raw emotions welled up in Adolin again, and he gained insight as to why his father drank. Oblivion was preferable to the searing agony lacing his insides. His brother, little Renarin, who Adolin had grown up with and mentored his entire life, now lay dead. And instead of kind words from the captain of the guard who had retrieved his brother’s body, an interrogation was given, as if he would kill his own brother! Adolin gritted his teeth. Nothing had happened yet except talk for the past hour; talk laced with deadly undertones. Composing what he hoped was a rigid expression, Adolin walked back to the group of Parshendi, head hung downwards. He would see if they could help him find his brother’s killer.
Cream Tuatara Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Navani saw Adolin stalking around the palace, and walked up to him. He was wearing a fabrial she herself had designed, which would have been flattering if it wasn't for the current situations. "Adolin, dear." She said, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Are you alright?"
Saffron Iguana Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Venli sighed in relief. No murders. She had been hoping for that. Hoping very much. I'm glad. I didn't want any more chaos. I just want to help my people. Venli walked up to Navani and Adolin. "I'm sorry for your loss, is there anything I can do for you?"
Amethyst Scorpion Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Dalinar paced briskly, but aimlessly, through the palace, wandering through rooms and drifting in and out of conversations. He still grieved for Renarin, but the Blackthorn in him yearned to take action. The problem was that he didn't have anyone, or anything, to direct his pent up energy towards. Where was @SE_Gavilar_Kholin? During the war for unification Gavilar had always given him direction, a goal to focus on. Dalinar needed that now, so he sought out his brother. In his search he was nearly intercepted by @SE_Wit. "Out of my way, Wit," Dalinar growled, pushing the man aside, and continued on his way. I mixed up the time of the rollover and so missed my chance to assist anyone last cycle, but I'm happy to do so this cycle, if anyone has any actions they need assistance with.
Ivory Dragonfly Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 (edited) Elhokar Kholin was angry. Very angry. After starting up the business, he had a few people approach him, but nobody really took advantage of the service. That wasn't the problem. In fact, it was perfectly fine by him. It meant he had time do do other things. Like investigate murders. "Amaram! I saw you last cycle trying to kill Ivory. I know you are a member of the Son of honor, with the goal to cause a crisis. You have no place at this feast! Get out before I have to put my shardbow to use." Edit: Quote To expound, I had a goal to spy on a member of a secret society. As thaidakar was dead, I spied on amaram. That fulfilled my win con. My action revealed that he had tried to kill Ivory. Edited October 4, 2018 by SE_Elhokar_Kholin

"Whoa whoa whoa, Kholin. Why you getting all mad at me? All I did was destroy all the alcohol, get Liss ostracized, and let a herd of chulls into the palace!"
Indigo Weasel Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 (edited) Ivory had come to a conclusion. Most humans where stupid, and lacked survival instincts. "I wonder, Amaram, was Renarin your work too? Depending on who you'd spoken too, you might have heard I was talking to him. Or maybe you'd heard he had an interest in that black sphere you're so interested in? I think you can consider yourself lucky that you'd managed to get rid of diplomat Nale first, as I doubt he'd have settled for simply having you tossed out. Had your attack come close enough to graze my defenses, I wouldn't have settled for that either." Edited October 4, 2018 by SE_Ivory
Fuchsia Ostrich Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 (edited) More importantly, Amaram, (Probable vote coming later) How would you have killed a Spren? Aren't they more like forces? Can a shardblade kill a spren? Even so, I believe that at this time, you still don't have a Shardblade, and would therefore have to borrow one from one of the ones the king uses to lend out for duels. Quote That's a serious question. I can't remember canonically, and my 25 seconds of research turned up no results. Edited October 4, 2018 by SE_Jasnah_Kholin
