And a puppy. It was an awesome shapeshifting were-puppyjackalope. Nameless ascended the stairs into the Temple of Blades. He walked into the door, shivering from the cold. A glowing cloud made up of a million tiny spheres of light floated up to him. "What are you here for?" It floated closer, reaching a tendril out and touching Nameless head. "Ah... I see, revenge. You were wronged by your fellow narrators, I believe? Sometimes it is hard to tell, especially with all the protections around your mind." Nameless looked up at the cloud. "I wasn't just wronged. They sent me to an insane asylum. I was seeking help! I knew that I had a problem, and I was dealing with it, but they ignored my protests. They betrayed me. Now I'm done playing their games. I'm going to make them regret what they've done, even if it kills me." The cloud swirled for a moment, growing brighter, then returned to normal. "Very well. If you wish a weapon, you will receive one. Follow me please" Nameless followed the cloud through the temple, passing many legendary weapons on the way. Eventually they came to a locked door, sealed with chains made of Aluminum, and guarded by three Shardbearers and a Mistborn. The cloud flew up to them, and the guards stepped aside, barely glancing at the strange new visitor. The doors unsealed, revealing a long corridor, covered from floor to ceiling in complex murals. At the end there was an altar, and on that altar lay a sword. The cloud spoke: "This is the most powerful weapon in our collection. The sword above all swords, The Sword. It is the archetype of which all others are pale comparisons. A more powerful blade than this cannot be made. It grows in power each time a new sword is created. It is a blade great enough to burn kingdoms, to destroy planets, to cut universes." The cloud stopped, looking at Nameless. Nameless stared at the sword for a long time, then finally spoke: "It may just be enough."

(This got weird quickly)

It had been transformed by a rogue spirit. Unbeknownst to Nameless, another ancient relic had been recovered; the True Shield.

-puppy-jackalope. It was quite strange really.

Nameless hit the ground in a flash of light in front of @Experience. He held a sword that glowed brighter than the sun. "I am here to take my REVENGE on you" Nameless walked slowly towards Experience, swinging the sword.

Experience watched the sword pass through his chest with amusement. "It took you long enough. I am a Shard. I am much to experienced for you to suprise me anymore. How about we work together, both narrating together?"

Laughter filled the room, and Experience stepped out from behind a table. "You will never best me. I have had much too many experiences with people trying to kill me. It seems you are not used to fighting a Shard."

Nameless swung his sword towards Experience. It was so sharp, that as he swung it it left a rip in the fourth wall.

Mimes swarmed the area, restoring the broken wall.

Nameless ignored the voice. He was done listening to Silence.

Nameless smiled. "have no experience? I have battled gods. I fought the blob. What have you done? You claim experience, and yet you have never proven it." He slashed the air in front of him, cutting a hole in the three realms. A burst of light shot out from his sword into the Spiritual realm, hitting Experience's investiture and splintering off a piece of it.

Please, said Samuel, stepping forwards and holding his hands in front of him. Why must you fight?

"Because when I tried to stop, they wouldn't let me. They questioned why I fought, they found me too violent, and when I acknowledged that they might be right, they simply threw me aside." Nameless stepped forward. "They threw me aside because I was weak. I will not be weak again."

On a side note, how many people actually figured out what I was doing? I saw that someone had quoted me, and immediately thought: "Oh, they've found me out." But no one mentioned it, so I'm curious as to whether you all just missed it, or you just didn't mention it.

I caught it.

Just because they try to define who you are doesn't mean you have to listen to them.

"So I see you agree with me. The only way to ensure my own survival is to show them that I am not weak enough to fall for their games. Now, begone, I have work to do." Nameless stepped towards @Experience.

The second illusion dropped and Experience walked through the door. "What work are you trying to accomplish? And I need not prove anything. I am above you, as I am still a narrator."

And then @Nameless was incased in metal bars.

Nameless laughed. "You think I am not a narrator? Or do you think your narrative Experience exceeds my own? I have created plot. The candy war was ending, until I revived it. I compromised with the mimes. What have you done?"

The metal bars burned into ash, and Nameless stepped forwards. All of Experience's illusions disappeared in a flash of light.

But you are falling for them! growled Samuel.
