She held up a hand and it shrivled to ash. "Lunamor," she said. "It's been too long."

“She’s just trying to provoke us,” Jaywalk told Luna. “All bark, no bite.”

Astral scoffed. "Killing your godson didn't bite? Well, then," she said, "I think someone needs to grow a heart."

Jaywalk looked away. “I...I lost my heart a long time ago.”

Astral put her face between the bars and grinned. "And mine is actively rotting inside my chest." She pulled away and held up a finger. "Just be careful who you hurt with that blackened soul, Jaywalk. Otherwise you might end up angering someone a little too big for your size. And that never ends well. People could get needlessly hurt. Like my nephew..."

“I’m very aware of that.” He took a swing at Astral’s face.

[Zephrun’s Imperium they/he]

Astral's head melted to goo and reformed after his swing had passed. She pursed her lips. "Ooo, careful there."

[Jaywalk he/him]

He scowled at Astral, clenching his fists. “Is your only purpose to cause pain?” He slammed his fist into the bars, punch enhanced by the Void. The ceiling cracked. He punched again. It cracked further.

She continued to smile her black-lipped smile, unconcerned by the cracking ceiling. "My purpose," she said, "is to destroy happy endings. You know that. And if that means the death of a child - of a hundred children - then I will do it. So yes. I do cause pain. And I love it."

“It’s all your fault.” He grimaced. “All my pain, suffering. You did this to me.” His head snapped up to look at her, his voidveins flashing. “YOU DID THIS!”

Astral smirked and reached inside of Jay's consciousness, pulling out his threads of sorrow. They escaped him like thin lines of mist, curling up to her mouth and she breathed in deeply, his negative emotions filling her. Her feeding process did not take away the subject's emotions, but rather left an uncomfortable, hollow feeling within them. She sighed pleasurably as she finished. "Yes," she cooed. "It's my fault you failed to protect your boy. It's my fault you don't have a heart, it's my fault you were attacked by a withergeist. All Astral's fault because Jaywalk is not to blame for his own mistakes."

“Very well. See you on the battlefield.” He opened a portal and jumped away into the void.

Astral puckered her lip. "Farewell," she said lightly. She sighed and snapped her finger, returning once again to the solitude of her darkness. She was full now, but though Jay's sorry was rich, it was tainted by anger. She much preferred misery or utter despair. Soon, she would thirst again. But TVG had promised her a rich source of nutrients. Her name was Heather. And Astral would soon find her.

Ugg.. People.  Exept Jay, he was kind of cute, and not as annoying.  She walked up to Astral and said "Are you an evil creature?  You have the looks of one."  Ara cocked her head waiting for a response and drew her shardbow.

Astral regarded Ara with one dark eyebrow raised. She towered above the girl, her silky, midnight gown flowing into a misty aura of decay around her. "I am the Queen of Shadows, daughter of TVG. And yes. I am indeed quite evil."
