“It looks like you’re a bit busy, if I’m being honest. I’ll take you up on that offer as soon as we’re done here. Can you try and excise her?”

It tossed another handful of the sparkly powder in Malevolence’s face. This was getting awkward. What would be more awkward would be if Malevolence just up and died while 9/10mmHB#2 watched.

lmao

Malevolence's brain resisted her touch somehow, healing the damage done to it. Malevolence's voice sounded in Fog's mind. Look at that, mental communication! You truly have linked us in a very dangerous way. After all a link to me is a link to Darkseeker, and without the safeguards carefully forged by the Dreamsmith, that link is very dangerous for you.

Fog could feel the truth of his words, the power of Darkseeker threatening to seep into her soul in an entirely different way from the attack earlier.

She growled, reforming some small shards of the Mordite blade within her mist to help destroy him more effectively.

Just die already!

The Guardian of Plot Significance decides to ruin 9/10mmHB#2’s extremely well thought out plan by snapping a flaming whip at the explosive Teostra Powder. The air in the vicinity of Malevolence briefly catches fire. A flash of red light and 9/10 drops to the ground, jacket catching on fire. Oh well, it was useless anyways. It pulls it off, along with the now useless sparking gloves, and flings it aside, drawing Futility and standing there, one hand on the sword and the other in the explosive powder pouch, wondering what to do next. “Um sure, as long as that doesn’t mean anything tricky like I take over your current body,” he answers the drone. Paranoia still rules its existence.

Using that fancy and also terrifying new mental connections, Fog reaches out through the drone to 9/10.

"I can offer you something much better," she rasped, "If you help me kill him."

You have no idea.

Stone nodded. The amount of times I've been fridged for the sake of "Plot" . . .

Spoiler

this is Inkwell, your fourth wall crossing backseat in I&9’s body host for this evening, here to tell you that @edgyswordnameis not going to respond to @Through The Living Glass until @NameIess reacts. It’s going to be a close one, folks, but I think New England’s going to take home the trophy, or something… what was I talking about? Right. 9/10mmHB#2, as I can see clearly by reading his thoughts, is completely paralyzed by the thought of betraying Malevolence, but also afraid that Fog won’t betray it like Malevolence is likely to. All in all, folks, it’s going to be an exciting game, but just to clarify, you don’t have to wait for @edgyswordname! And in case I’m completely wrong- Go Patriots!

He was completely wrong. 💀

Just die already!

As soon as Fog incorporated the Mordite, she felt a sense of relief from Malevolence. Due to their connection, she could see that he'd been waiting for it to happen. Then, abruptly, Ennulling energy washed through Malevolence, pushing Fog out of his body, nullifying her mist and preventing it from causing further damage.

Why would I die when I've just won? Malevolence gloated mentally. Evil prevails yet again.

"No, that man that was just stabbed will make a perfect host, I do believe. He will be terrible at defending you, I can guarantee it. Assuming he survives."

9/10mmHB#2 considers the offer for all of .45 seconds before he rejects it. “A man wounded by a Plotblade? That’s the best you could offer when your enemy extends an offer to me to betray you?” He snorts. Fog has just been ejected from Malevolence’s body, looking burned and blackened, if fog can do that. “I’ll take your offer. Can you still push him around?”, he says, charging at Malevolence, throwing a handful of teostra powder and sparking the tip of the pen against Futility’s blade.

Yes, but only until he stops fighting Rebus. He’s perfectly capable of appearing right in front of 9/10mmHB#2 as it sets off explosive powder in the immediate frontal vicinity XD

He snapped his fingers (for show, of course), and they appeared next to Ribbon.

Bob decided to throw one of his origami ninja stars at the wind to see what would happen.

Oh geez. My best plan was to teleport him away with a rift and fog’s pressure abilities. I’m not sure 9/10mmHB#2 has the capability to kill Malevolence. What’s his power set?

Okay, let’s see how he reacts to the air he is breathing exploding. Twice. Not sure @NameIess even noticed the first time. Also Atreides has just been exploded, if @TwinStorm hasn’t noticed

I love that Bob is here. If Bob has any cosmic powers he wants to use against Malevolence, that happens to be a fight he is welcome to enter @Unintelligenius

Bob ran after the wind and started yelling at it to bring his shirt back. Eventually, he got tired, so he pulled out his origami boomerang and threw it, slicing through the wind, dropping his shirt, and landing back in his hand.
