The thing in Inkwell’s head is not a pencil. It’s just funnier that he’s easier to erase.

"Is there? Where?"

"Who narrated the snake?" Ribbon asked. "Don't play dumb with me. There's two people here, and one of you narrated the snake away. Who was it?"

Her eyes narrowed threateningly. "Unless you want me to... deal with both of you."

"I kill Narrators for a living." Ribbon said. It wasn't that false, it was just... Pretentiously true.

She chuckled.

"This is the Thread. Anything can happen. Just because the snake vanished, that doesn't mean there's a Narrator here."

Spoiler

I kill things. Like the mood. 9/10mmHB#2 takes control and uses the pen to draw into reality a mask like the face of a white bird with six slits for eyes, and an unassuming curved sword with an inscription in Morse: - .... . / ..-. ..- - .. .-.. .. - -.-- / --- ..-. / .-.. .- -. --. ..- .- --. .

"Anything can happen..." She said. "When there's an omnipotent narrator around."

She glared at Fog as a response to the kill count question. Sometimes a facial expression spoke a thousand words.

She seemed amused with Ribbon's expression, though she didn't say anything about it.

"You seem to know more than you are letting on, Fog," she put extra emphasis on the name.

"Fog, if you want me to be."

"Alright, Fog, a better question is what are you?" Ribbon asked.
