Shadow then slipped on a spot of the floor that had suddenly become slick, but turned it into a lunge last second.

The sprite then made the floor beneath Betrayal slick, but as he was standing there it didn’t do anything. The frogs were still everywhere, but mostly attacking Shadow and causing general mayhem.

“Gosh…” She said with a yawn. “Seems I fell asleep for another… Oh it’s only been 23 pages? Fascinating…”

With a wave of her hand, the veil of shadows around her world, a serene and lovely planet, was lifted. It was once again unlocked and visible to travelers of all kinds, so long as they did not have intentions of chaos or malfeasance.

Rebus, who was fairly certain he would be flagged for malfeasance, decided to contact Sequence directly. Have we spoken recently?

What deeds of evil did you accomplish to claim that Blade?"

I hadn’t really intended such things, and when it first started to be the case it wasn’t summer, so I was more active. Xino and Nameless were like this for me.

He ducked, weaved, got hit by a flying frog, slashed, growled, got a dirty sock shoved in his mouth, vanished into the shadows and popped up behind Rebus, summoned a sword, got attacked by a…cardboard box? Painted to look like it was made of… plastic bags? Who makes that kind of thing?  How do you make that kind of thing? Swung the sword at Rebus in devastating arcs, had Baby Shark blasted in his ears at short range, and started yelling at Mischief all the while

Who promptly put another dirty sock in his mouth. And then on Betrayal’s ears. And on Rebus’ weapon.

Sock! She declared in Rebus’ mind.

Axzi was stunned. That thing… it has no mercy!

Suddenly, a small Pretzel man apears. "Hello, my name is Lezterp. Nice to meet you." He then takes out a machine and touches it to your arm. Then he disapears. A pretzel apears in his wake. Suddenly, you start getting sleepy.

“I killed Bat.” Rebus smiled, watching Malevolence’s face. “Tam is gone, and for a time, every plotline revolved around me. It’s almost disappointing how easily people agreed to work for me - an evil empire has no significance without a heroic resistance opposing them.”

I was thinking of opening another RP based around freeing the shackled dream and dealing with the aftermath, do you think Rebus would want to be a part of that?

I think it could be interesting, but for this to work, Rebus cannot be the first one. He has too many defenses against it.

Of course not. The unbridled embodiment of Mischief has no reason to relent. Rebus, aiming to change that, spoke in Mischief’s mind. I can find you a better trick to pull, if you wait till the end of my duel. 
Rebus’s halberd disappeared - leaving the sock to drop to the ground - then reappeared facing in the opposite direction and hooking Shadow’s sword. “It might have worked, if I couldn’t see in all directions,” Rebus noted, then twisted the weapon with enough strength and leverage to bend metal bars and snap bones.

It was a machine that infused the power of the God I am currently RPing as into you, and taking you to his realm in which only souls can enter, and only after they have fallen asleep.

That's actually a great question.

I think while in the thread, Rebus has thread perception for TLT in general, but once out of it, he would be disconnected. The other universe is connect to TLT currently anyway, so...

The sprite showed interest and flitted away, messing with only Betrayal now, who was fuming over having the scratches painted bright pink.

The weapon went flying, but even so Shadow came in slashing, aiming at Rebus’ abdomen. But he was slowing. Prolonged combat in the weak light weakened him. But grimly he fought on nonetheless.
