The sand person extended its hands, and all the attackers suddenly turned into puddles of water.

It melted a small bit of sand from the wall of the castle, making some fragile glass. It formed the glass into a small crown and placed it on its own head triumphantly.

The doctor looked around in utter shock, holding a scalpel and forceps as if he'd been in the middle of cutting into something. "Where am I? Where'd my patient go?"

". . . That doesn't seem good. Let's get a doctor, not a surgeon."

The crow pecked her on the head.

They stared at each other for a moment. Then Tam's eyes narrowed.

What do we do about the spirits? They haven't really done anything . . . and I'm not sure how to narrow down what they're here for.
