"Well, I'll also put plan B into play if she dies of natural causes." A small group of even smaller sand people started laying siege to the sandcastle with a sand catapult.

"Clearly you have some idea of what plan B is."

The sand person extended its hands, and all the attackers suddenly turned into puddles of water.

It melted a small bit of sand from the wall of the castle, making some fragile glass. It formed the glass into a small crown and placed it on its own head triumphantly.

"Actually, I have an even better idea!" Subversion snapped her fingers and a doctor appeared.

The doctor looked around in utter shock, holding a scalpel and forceps as if he'd been in the middle of cutting into something. "Where am I? Where'd my patient go?"

". . . That doesn't seem good. Let's get a doctor, not a surgeon."

18 minutes ago, Ookla the Arbiter said:

Miraculously, the patient was fine. There had been another doctor that had fully done what this doctor had been planning to.

Phew.

. . . About Ennuller training.

Are you thinking you want to do it?

Tam chuckled. "I'm not going to hurt him. Or you. Or anyone here, for that matter." She smiled.

"Just because I do my best to help people, doesn't mean I can't be mischievous from time to time."

Did you see the thing Shoe said a few posts back?

Psh of course I did pshhhh

Bat's worry visibly eased a little. "Oh. That's fair."

She sighed. "Well, don't expect me to die to save you from your trauma."

Bat hesitated. "...oh."

"It was too cute."

"No! Narrators are dangerous. You create and destroy things at will. That's dangerous. Everyone else is severely underreacting."

Beosta squeezed his hand. You'll be okay.

"Don't worry. I won't." he said coldly.

"They can't make you an Ennuller any more than I could make you a Luxsprite, or Subsy could make you a Narrator. As for having already been trained... what do you actually have against them? What's wrong with being more able to protect the people you care about?"

"Ennullers don't just counter Narration. That's a relatively common misconception, they can Nullify most things. It's most commonly used on Narration, because it's one of the few things that can stop it, but it can be used on other powers."

"I think you will. I'm no oracle, but... Let's just say I have a feeling that Ennullers will find you. They tend to know a lot about TLT."

"And I know a lot about running."

@Ookla the Irreplaceable

Well, it was a cute normal sneeze.

"Oh! Well, that makes it all better, then!"

"You'll make you decision," Platypus started, dumbfounded. "When they get here? You'll make your decision about whether or not to run from them once they arrive???"

Hey, she said, moving around to hug him. I'll sneak in anyway.

"Do you... do you know if he has a name?" He asked, almost sheepish.

"No. It's just some random noises that his parents liked."

I'll make myself an Ennuller too if I have to. Or at least try. I'm sure Bat has some of that ink.

Tam barked a laugh, then covered her mouth, realizing how rude that probably sounded.

"Sorry!" she said sheepishly.

The crow pecked her on the head.

"Ow! I said I was sorry- so what if it was rude? It was an accident and I already- hey!" she said as it pecked her again.

They stared at each other for a moment. Then Tam's eyes narrowed.

"Now that's a rude thing to say," she huffed.

Bat smiled and did his best to hold his head very, very still. "Uh... how about... uh... Feathers? Cuz you have feathers." He was rather proud of that.

Shoe... She put one hand over his. Okay. I won't, if it means that much to you.

He hugged her gratefully, then pulled away again after a few moments and gestured to the rose. Which is still floating there, I assume?

What do we do about the spirits? They haven't really done anything . . . and I'm not sure how to narrow down what they're here for.

I don't know either.

The rose chirped. Beosta jumped and stared at it.
