Ya know, I don't particularly care if the Brave Adventurer shows up, or the General, or any of the people you would call my nemeses. Just something I do to fill time. And knowing that He can't show up makes me feel much better. I suppose I will talk to you later.

Though it wouldn't be possible for Sequence to see, some of the more observant guests would notice that as he walked away, Platypus seemed to change. His countenance seemed darker, his mood (which normally seemed carefree) was less tolerant than normal, and his eyes lost their signature readiness, replaced by a challenge that was much more aggressive. Even his skin tone shifted, though perhaps it was a trick of the light as he stepped into shadows.

Hacob, watching from where he had been sitting was a little concerned, but it was probably fine.

Sequence smiled and gave a wave farewell. I’m glad! Be seeing you, Platypus. 

She waved again, this time to Hacob as she spotted him. “Oh hi! I didn’t see you arrive! Enjoying the party?”

"Yeah." Cricket said. "We were so... apart. She was seven and I was ten, but I barely ever saw her. My father was a lord, Earl of Sonchester, and I was his eldest son. He thought that I should be responsible and didn't like me playing. Part of the reason I left, I suppose. I didn't want to be an earl."

also Glass I had a crazy TLT dream last night! Tam, for some reason, decided to make Cricket a criminal empire which he didn't want, and Tam started attacking his enemies with packs of wolves and chained Cricket to a throne. It was weird.

Asher thought about that. Do they have a favorite song? it's been so long since you've listened to music. "uh i dont really know. I havent listened to music at all since i died. And that was ages ago" besides all your songs were more like rock and metal stuff so a piano ain't gonna do anything. Also Bacon I bet your piano skills suck. Because you suck, at everything. I bet that girls look at you and then throw up. And you can't play rock and metal on a piano dummy.

Bacon rolled up his sleeves and proceeded to use the piano to play the heaviest death metal that Asher had ever heard.
