Reasoning stared at both in abject horror. "You don't understand. That's the Wall. It's what keeps us here. The only thing completely immune to Narration. She's breaking everything else. She'll destroy the thread as we know it if we don't do something. All the same... what you did helped. Please, hold her back. I think I can do something, I just need more time." As she spoke, however, the cracks on the figure began expanding faster, distorting its shape more and more as the light glowed brighter and brighter. "She's losing control! I think-I think she's angry that someone tried to kill Curiosity. You have to stop her now!" "The dark patron. I see." He held his hands together, and inverted the wall intirely, making it heal itself, but the effects were all for nothing. Rirrom considered reversing everything, but that wouldn't do anything. So instead, he mirrored the wall, and made a clone of itself, inverted, to fight it, fix it and heal it.

Subversion, a Narrator, was split into ten pieces. Power is her power as a Narrator, but when split apart from the others, she doesn't have the strength of will to control or use it in a safe way. Power's distorted form pulled back together, revealing someone who looked mostly identical to Reasoning. She turned to face Rirrom, an expression of pure surprise and rage on her face. Without warning that face split, cracks of light returning, momentarily halted destruction beginning again. This time, however, Power did not stand still. She began walking towards Rirrom, each step leaving behind a jagged hole as she slowly approached the Narrator.

"I'm not fighting you, I'm fighting him!" "Go help Subversion, Falvan," Platypus said staring grimly. "This is my fight." Little does Rond know, I actually play chess competitively. I almost won State a few years ago. Platypus raises his Blades, then lowers them. He runs in and ducks the first slash. Then, inside the sword's reach, he shouted. Power amplifying his voice, a shockwave blasts out, then a sonic boom. He throws his Narrationblade, jumps, and swings for Rond's head with Vengeance. Rond twists in the air, the armor storing the force of the shockwave for the right moment. Rond grins underneath the energy shield and brings his blade up in the air to the Plot blade, flying into it, energy flaring around him. Rond laughed as sparks flew from the Narration blade meeting the Unholy Blade. Darkness sprayed in all direction, countered by light giving it depth. He bounced off of the push, falling into a new form in the air and tapping his wrist. Five inversely colored versions of him jumped out of him, far less strong, but still fairly competent. They all, at once, rushed Platypus, moving to the side and performed the perfect flight equivalent of Heron among the rushes, moving back and forth, slashing with practiced skill. They were in a circle around him, slashing and attacking. Rond himself threw himself back, swirling his sword through the air, slicing through the very hem of reality. Pure energy of all colors rippled around the Unholy Blade and its welder, causing condensation of pure energy to form on the blade. Power undulated into unbridled orbs of energy, a technicolor and multitudinous mass of the matter that makes up TLT. It crackled like fire around Rond, preparing to strike. "Aim..." He pointed his blade to one of the clones as they proceeded to bombard Platypus in the air. Rond grinned. This was it. This was the time to prove himself. Really prove himself. He'd been shown time and time again to be a competent scientist. But this, this was what he needed. This is what would finally redeem him in Thaidakar's eyes and show him what he'd cast aside all those years ago. But, no, Thaidakar was dead. There was no-one to prove himself to anymore. No-one but the living and the dust of the earth. How does it feel to have one's purpose cast away into the infinite abyss of nothing that is your soul? Rond, in that moment, knew it better than any living in this time ever have or ever will. And... Yet... Somehow he knew that he had to keep going. Rond had to keep doing what he was doing otherwise who would he be? Without this, was he merely the second hand character from a dead Narrator's past? was he merely that one villain who was a good fighter and a scientist? And was that really him? And, if it was, would he want to change that? In an instant of realization, Rond realized something very important. No, he wouldn't want to change that, because it was his destiny. Destiny had a path for him. And it felt right for him to be doing this. For once in his life he was acting instead of being on the sidelines and he liked it! And, so, Rond seized his destiny. A pure beam of raging, unfathomable and destined to be true shot hit one of the clones, beaming into the others and forming a dome around them and Platypus. The beam fired fifty times all at once on one spot. Platypus's body. Blood moon by Rok Nardin. The beam fired fifty times all at once on one spot. Platypus's body. Seeing the beams bouncing around, Platypus instinctively knew they would aim for him. Who else could they aim for. How little Rond truly knew. As the beams burst towards him, he dropped his Blades. He couldn't be slowed down for this. Leaving the Blades floating in the air this whole fight we've been floating he jumped. The beams followed him and he jumped, ducked, contorted, and twirled through the gaps. Soon a beam had hit each of the duplicate Ronds, dispatching them. He picked up his swords in time, crossed them, and raised them to the height of the beam. Swirling power of Vengeance, Narration, and reality formed a matching beam and the beams hit. The explosion caused all within 70 miles to see the mushroom cloud if they looked. Platypus stalked through the smoke, Blades still glowing, though his glow was slightly diminished. "Oh, Rond," he called sing-songingly. "Ready to die yet?" Emerging from the smoke, Platypus stood face to face with Rond. Then he started moving. He started simple, figure 8s, jumping over Rond, who was the cross in the 8. Then he got faster and more complex until the ground was smoking in a runic shape. "Meet the Platypi's language. Consider yourself lucky, you're the only outsider to see it. This mean Vengeance. You tried to kill my friends. Thaidakar DIED!" he screamed. "But I've had enough." Suddenly he stopped, directly in front of Rond. "It was a good fight," he said, voice coming from behind. He slashed and stabbed at the same time, aiming to sever the head and skewer the heart. As soon as he attacked he knew that if nothing interfered, Rond was a goner.
