"The Crolings are harmless. Your horse was probably mauled by a bear, and you're looking for someone to pin the blame on."

The man shook his head angrily. "You think I don't know what a bear attack looks like? I tell you this; whatever killed my horse, it wasn't natural."

"Well, I can say with confidence I haven't made anything large enough OR dangerous enough to kill a horse."

The man gained the impression of Danger

He ignored it, stepping further inside towards Calano. "You think your lies fool me? There ain't no where else a monster like that could come from. You made it, and you're going to pay for what it did."

Rond stepped forward and said, "What kind of creature was it?"

The Crolings chirped defensively as the man stepped over the threshold.

"For your own safety, I'm asking you once to step back outside. The Crolings don't like it when strangers get aggresive. They will attack, and there will be very little I can do to stop them. Please step outside."

Mysterious X removed the man from inside the house.

[Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him]

Rond walked in and said, "can I have a look at one of the Crollings? I won't harm them."

[Going_North_cal]

Calano glared at Rond. "Not up to me. Ask one of them. They'll probably ask me, but they like to be asked first."

[NameIess]

The man sneered from outside the house, casting a nervous look over his shoulder at Mysterious X. "So you reveal your demon, eh? Is that the thing that killed my horse?"

Rym was somewhat startled that so many people had suddenly appeared at Calano's house.

"The Narrators are taking great interest in this place, for some reason..." he said to himself.

Rond knelt near a Crolling and asked nicely, "can I take a look at you? I promise I won't hurt you." he smiled at them, touching his glasses briefly out of habit.

"The farthest any of them have been outside of this room is not even a foot. I keep track of all of them. They've never left, and they're fine with that. I. Didn't. Kill. Your. Horse. Nor did anything I've created."

A Croling hopped up to Rond and chirped, hopping onto a hand Rond extended.

Rond smiled at the Croling, "now, I just wanna do a few short tests to catalogue you with a few other new species I've found. is that alright?"

The Croling chirped something that sounded like a laugh, and it's chest opened. A small piece of paper with a comprehensive paragraph about it emerged, enough info to properly catalogue it for Rond.
