Everyone was suddenly sucked into a computer and forced to play Minecraft  vr.

This was a better game than Minecraft, because it was instead Minecraft vr..

Unfortunately, everyone was on hardcore mode.

This meant something different in Minecraft vr. as it just meant that all your items and money dropped on death. This resulted in many cosmere curses but not permanent death.

You got to come back as a ghost. Minecraft VR was nice like that.

You could come back as a human, but it required a dark ritual involving...

Killing someone else.

[The Wandering Wizard he/him]

During the dark moon with...

[NameIess]

A soul knife. Unfortunately, soul knives were modded content and thus highly illegal on pain of banishment.

But because of the ban even more found their way into the game.

[NameIess]

Everyone stuck in the game came to a sudden realization: if they got banned, they would be freed. Possibly. Either that or they’d die. 50/50 odds either way.

Everyone (non-personified) voted for Butt to be the first one to try. As one person's reasoning was that Butt always came back.

[NameIess]

Unfortunately, Butt lost the coin toss and got instantly murderized. And his corpse got possessed by Herobrine.

The narrators had no clue that this had happened as Butt had instantly disappeared.

[NameIess]

But now Herobrine was loose, and he was watching them.

This led to many tingles up spines that were all ignored.

[NameIess]

The Narrators were too bust planning an expedition to the Deep Dark.

[The Bookwyrm he/him]

Bookwyrm appeared again after another multi-page disappearance and was confuzzled.

[NameIess]

Nameless shoved Bookwyrm into the hole that went all the way to bedrock.

[Shining Silhouette he/him]

Another narrator popped up from the bottom of the bedrock 

[The Bookwyrm he/him]

"Ow. Nameless really isn't very nice," Bookwyrm said to himself.

Bookwyrm jumped as he saw the other narrator pop up from the bedrock.

Just in time to get doused in water as the automatic safety dispenser activated.

[Shining Silhouette he/him]

As he was in creative mode, he flew up past the water and started mining up towards the top of the ground

Bookwyrm narrated himself dry.

He also narrated Nameless to fall down the hole as well.

Nameless gracefully water bucketed on the bedrock. "Huh. Looks like someone messed up the repeater timing on the auto-water safety device. That was supposed to activate just as you hit bedrock."
