Bell 221A waved at Bell 536A and the outsider from the next walkway.

"I have come to deliver a message, outsider," continued Bell 536A. "It is a request for help."

Ash wondered if he could help, but being on a slightly different plane of probability he also wondered if it would affect him.

"What kind of help do you need?" The explorer asked.

[xinoehp512 he/him]

"The world is out of order." clattered 536A. "It needs to be fixed. You need - to find - the Mechanic."

Doomslug smiled as the lore of the Gearverse deepened. He considered becoming the Mechanic, and eventually decided he would fill the role.

He then waited to be located.

He was the Mechanic, and he would fix the Gearverse.

"Anyone know a mechanic?" Ash asked, not being able to read minds that well.

"Oh, well, I was going there anyways, but when I get there, I'll wake him up."

Doomslug listened, and went along with the storyline.

He slept, and waited to be awakened.

[NameIess]

Nameless poked him with a stick. "Doomstick, wake up. It's about time for the creepy chaos guy to do some creepy watching from the shadows, reminding the readers that he's plotting to manipulate the Universe Explorer into getting him into the center thingy."

Doomslug looked up at Nameless groggily.

"Am I the creepy chaos guy? Also who's Doomstick?"

Doomslug overheard this and shooed Nameless away.

"This isn't right. Shoo."

"Oh, sorry. Doomstick's another narrator." Nameless glanced around nervously "Hopefully he's not here right now. He, uh, doesn't like plot very much. Anyways," Nameless gestured towards the creepy chaos dude, "You're not him, but you can narrate him some if you want."
